Rocketsan
Brindza at times was Terrible and he scored alot of points cause of the redzone woes. Sorry Brindza not even close to a top 5 impact player. He did enough to make solid contributions but that is it. If scoring 1/3 of an undefeated team's points isn't making an impact... Doesn't mean I don't value your opinion...
Kingwillball
I might take Theo out and put TJ Jones in there. He really developed as a legitimate big-time receiver this year and he didn't show that in his first two seasons. Really ? Is that serious ? Riddick had almost as many Receiving yards and Catches as Jones not to Mention almost 900 yards more rushing. I like Jones and he was easily there best Wr this year but U dont swap him for the guy who at times carried the offense this season and lead the team in total yards by far. If Brindza was mister Automatic I could maybe see doesn't mean he wasn't a valuable part of team however when your talking top 5 U have to start with Everydown position Players over sometimes erratic Placekickers. irishrb
Teo-Man amongst boys Golson-Game changing ability Riddick-absolutely love the way this guy approaches the game. Love it. Eifert-did what he wanted....became a COMPLETE player Nix/Tuitt-I can't decide between these two...both are forces. If I had to choose....with Notre Dame's defense...Nix. I'm not saying Theo sucks, but I believe there are other backs who could have combined to produce something similar to Theo. I think the receiver unit would have really been in trouble if TJ didn't step up and become a player that attracted attention. Just my opinion. IrishCalves
1. Te'o 2. Nix 3. Eifert 4. Tuitt 5. Golson Honorable mention: Riddick. Anyone from 3-6 is VERY debatable in my book. As hard as it was to leave off Riddick's hard, tone setting north-south style of running this year, Golson's emergence as a credible dual threat quarterback has - in my view - had a greater net affect on this team. Also KILLED me to leave Shembo out of the mix too.

The question was who was most impactful. Not who's the best. Brindza was huge in Purdue. Huge at Michigan. Came through when he had to at Pittsburgh. Gigantic at USC. If Brindza had an off game at USC, we'd probably have lost. If he missed at closing out Purdue, who knows what happens. I'd say that's pretty damn impactful. Its not a question of how good he was, just how important he was. Hugely important.
