He lists Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Notre Dame and Florida as the schools he is really interested. I think he may be Irish when all is said and done.

"Allen has been consistent in his refusal to name a leader, however when asked to name the programs that interest him the most, he had a reply.

"There's four schools I'm interested in," said Allen. "Notre Dame, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia Tech."

He wanted to make clear, "That's not a final four, that's the four at the moment. The four I named have great coaching and they are about more than just their football team. I really like the coaches and how these teams get their running backs involved in their offense.""

I know this doesn't mean anything, but I love it when recruits list ND first off the top of their head!

He's not even considering Georgia and Miami anymore.

I have to laugh when kids honestly think any SEC team, with the exception of Vandy, is about more than the football team, especially when UT is involved in that statement.

The rumbling coming out of Florida is Armando and DT running up I 75 to Indiana. Boys we are going to score some PLAYMAKERS this year. Just sit tight oh yea of little faith!

having allen and DT in south bend for a visit would be awsome, need to get them up here before it gets cold.

not every kid from florida is scared of snow, plus its probably better they are here when its cold to calm any fears they may have

blackwell said that he wants to come when it snows to basically make sure he is comfortable with it

i think them seeing ND when its cold would not be a bad thing, they know its going to snow there you can't hide that from them

Weather? I wouldn't overlook it as a HUGE draw.

While it's true that Coach Weis has said if you want to play in the NFL you better get used to the cold even that overlooks human nature. Every Easterner and his mother will drive to Florida for a week of humongous expense to get some beach, fun and sun. As well into retirement just where is one of the retirement capitals of the world?

In this I can't quite blame a kid thinking of four years in the sun and on the beaches BEFORE settling into a career or the NFL.

I like our shot with AA better than DT... I would love to have him but I think he ends up in Miami.

Im assuming your talking about DT. Ive almost given up on DT and Allen is FAR more imporant.

I apologize, I'm slow, who's DT?

DT stands for Deonte Thompson, WR from Bell Glades, FL.

Thanks. I agree with you, at WR we already have a great chance to land one or both Benn and Little. Plus Kamara's already in. At RB we've got nobody, and Allen is a pretty fantastic athlete.

Shark, seeing as you have Gary Gray as your picture, do you think he's gonna be ND?

we are in good position with allen

we are in an even better position with hughes

td jesus 3, where do you think that Allen and Lorenzo Edwards end up when all is said and done?

Prez, this is how I see it. If you were dating a girl you knew for awhile and told her you wanted to see what else the world had to offer, maybe looking for something newer and flashier, what would that say to your girlfriend? I don't think your girlfriend would feel that great about your relationship lasting and wouldn't expect you to come back to her.

I just think that Gray might have not given enough thought into his decison and possibly could've been pressured by family, friends, etc... to stay at home and choose the Gamecocks. They might have been the only team he ever heard about growing up and thus could've created an attachment to the program.

Football aside, Gray knows how great a ND degree could be for him if he doesn't play football after college. I believe he knows in his heart where he wants to go and he is having a hard time saying where he wants to go because he knows he will be letting people down  . You have to remember that this was the kid who said he was 100% commited to SCAR and was doing what JC is doing for us, in trying to help recruit other players there, so telling 'The Ole' Ball Coach' that he won't be coming there is something he will probably have a hard time doing. I'll go out on a limb and say that he ends up at ND. I just really want to see him come to ND because we definitely need to stockpile top CB's and increase our team speed.

We did a great job last year in landing Walls and McNeil. I was extremely impressed with McNeil in the All-American Game and I'm from PA and seen Walls play before and I wished he would've been able to play in the game and showcase his skills too.

Shark, my gf is from around the PA area and her brother is a coach around there as well. He said that Walls rarely played CB for Woodland Hills. Is that true?

Well, from the game I watched on t.v., I remembered seeing a lot of him at RB/WR but not too much on defense due to an injury sustained in his senior year. I guess at the next level he projects to be a CB. The year before Justin King was the number 1 corner and he was known more for playing RB than CB.

Walls is one heck of an athlete from the minimal game footage I have seen of him.

I like it Shark. Very interesting analogy on Gray. I really hope your right.
