ND_Clover
No doubt its a rough place going through some hard times. I give credit to the people trying to turn around Detroit though. There's people out there cleaning up old drug houses ripping them down and actually creating gardens in place of the drug houses for the homeless . I have also seen where people have taken these lots and turned them into urban put put with old tires and cars etc. Etc..it's kind of neat to see people put a positive spin out of hell that Detroit has been through. nd1989
I was at the game today and saw Jayru play. He's a good QB. His young, a sophmore, very thin, but is quick and throws a nice pass. But the passes are very simple and he's got a long way to go.
ND_Clover
Did you see him last year throw 6 td's vs. CC in the title game? He may have a ways to go but his upside is as big as anyone's like you said he is sophomore.
piratey
Cass Tech players are notorious for being busts. Avoid like the plague
ND_Clover
Not this kid he comes from a long line of professional athletes in his family. Uncles grandfather and may bee father ...some where in the NBA and some where in the NFL.

He may have a ways to go but his upside is as big as anyone's like you said he is sophomore. I did. I was at that game too. As a FR, he played well but by no means was it Jayru that won that game. They had Ross as they're RB and a WR that was amazing. most of the passes were easy, and those players just ran after the catch. CT has the horses. In both games, last year and this year, CT wins because of the talent that they have as a team, which was/is higher than CCs. They're just faster. AtLeastMySisWasIrish
Cass Tech is a scUM pipeline so would be very surprised to see him go anywhere else. Worth recruiting though as it wouldn't surprise if he's the top recruit in the State when a senior.
ND_Clover
Pitch and catch is pretty much what you get in high-school.There's no real complexity behind many high school offenses. Its all about the talent. Granted he's had some nice weapons, but you can't take anything away from him.
ND_Clover
I think the biggest knock on him is will he outgrow the QB position his family is full of 6-7' , 6-8' guys.
ND_Clover
Where are you from ND 1989? Just curious.. I'm from Monroe. My dad has been the line coach there for last 20 years.
nd1989
Just came out on the news here in Detroit. Jayru charged with a felony and a misdemeanor. This isn't going to end well
