Well, I'm at home (parents house) here in the old blue collar NW Indiana, stll a bit tired from the traveling. My wife is getting ready as I lazily lay here in bed typing. My oldest daughter (16 yrs) is getting ready. A classmate of hers, is also my wifes boss' son, is a huge coloradoan Irish fan. The young 'lad' has the privelage of joining us in our travels to go see Our Lady's school and her boy's beat the snot out of Wake. We will be joining a few of you in the festivities soon!

This game scares the crap out of me. Everyone is talking like this is a done deal. College football is all about the emotion and I don't see it from the Irish. The flight or fight instinct will not be on our side this game. All I hear about is USC. Is anyone concerned at all about Wake?

No, not worried about Wake. They're really bad plus I think the mindset for this game will be "The final tune-up" before USC. So I expect to see our guys coming out and trying to execute everything perfectly to get ready for the war next week.

 

Also, its senior day so I expect our guys to be trying pretty hard to get that win.

Boy I hate today, every year. I hate seeing the seniors come out for their last time at ND. I hate seeing the last game of the year, knowing that ND football is over at home. I love going to ND every year, for as many home games as I can. But this one, is always tough to go to, knowing that it's the last one of the year.

 

They're doing the senior announcement right now. It is the best thing to watch. i cheer more for this announcement than for the actual game. My voice is worn out after this. This one will be huge when Manti comes out.

 

I can't wait.

 

But it's a tough drive home, always, when its over.
