Green Goblin 114
Seems likely to me. The three biggest games that week could be Oregon/Oregon St, K-State/Texas, and Notre Dame/USC assuming no one loses this week. They're at Oregon this week, so highly unlikely they go back to back on Oregon. ND/USC is one of the biggest rivalries in college football and a perfect ND season could be on the line. This we be USC's first gameday appearance this year and Notre Dame's third. You also have K-State and Texas. K-State has had no gameday appearances so far so ESPN might vote to share the love. Though I think $$$ tops love for ESPN and nothing will outdraw an undefeated ND heading into the Coliseum to play a highly ranked USC team (assuming they beat UCLA) for a title shot... yikityyakirish 0
I want it to be for USC and ND so they can have Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn on before the game...would be hilarious

tj4ndirish 0
I'll go out on a limb and say that the ND/u$c game will be the highest rated of the year. After gameday had the Irish on when they went to Norman, I was thinking about this as well. I'd bet gameday will surely be at the coli$eum for this one. GO IRISH!!! cameroncrazy 0
It's already scheduled for the ABC primetime game so I'd imagine it's a sure thing.
piratey 6
It's already scheduled for the ABC primetime game so I'd imagine it's a sure thing. They gave gameday to Florida/Tennessee over the prime time #10 MSU v. #20ND game.
TDUB 0
If Herbie is calling the game, then logistically it makes sense that they would be there. However, Gameday tends to hit up the regional rivalry games, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was Michigan-OSU or the Civil War game. Remember last week Gameday was on the deck of that carrier on the west coast and Herbie had to fly back east for the game he was on. So, just because he's announcing the game, doesn't make it so But, would mean that ND is starting to get some respect from espn, no?

They are doing Oregon this week, so they could do them back to back, I think they did Florida two weeks in a row. The Mich-OSU would be an option, but with OSU on probation, that game doesn't mean much. ND, playing for potentially a shot in the title game against their biggest rival? Seems like a logical choice. That said, ESPN and logic don't usually go hand in hand.
irishrb 0
I think part of it will depend on whether or not UCLA beats USC too. Personally, I hope UCLA beats the living crap out of USC. It's obvious that ND's strength of schedule is NOT going to move ND up. ND will need to win out and have someone lose. So I hope USC is down and out and ND kicks them while they are down! SpeedsterX 752
Screw Gameday! I couldn't care less about Gameday! USC/Notre Dame at the Coliseum in Prime Time will be big no matter what Gameday does!
Jason 0
I thought Oregon-Oregon St. was at Oregon St? If so, they wouldn't be in Eugene back to back weeks.

Right, but they would still be doing Oregon games back to back, which doesn't happen very often.
