Could be that we just finally buried my brother-in-law who committed suicide on Halloween day. Could be that my mother-in-law got so drunk following the interment that she fell off her porch and sustained a traumatic brain injury. Could be that I got my prostate exam that same morning and, aside from the discomfort of a dude sticking his finger up my ass :thumb:, that the Doc found something concerning so I have to go get tested for cancer. Could be my favourite team which I use as a pleasant distraction has underperformed in my eyes the last two weeks.

 

Who knows.

The glass is half full Rocket. Just when you think the boomerang is at its farthest point away from you and not coming back, it takes a turn and hits you in stride! Be strong, stay positive and good things will come your way.

Even if Notre Dame had defeated Pitt 50-10 and then defeated BC 50-10, it wouldn't have been good enough. Everyone would have said those teams sucked and given ND no credit for the victories.

 

Everyone forgets what ND did to Oklahoma, a team projected to be in a BCS game. And based off the the BCS projections tonight on ESPN, that means the only undefeated teams to defeat another BCS-bowl team is ND and K-State.

Rocket I am very sorry to hear about all of the things coming down in life. I am young (2.8.) but have been through a lot losing a man like an uncle to me to suicide, another man like an uncle to me died of a rare cancer in his throat, and one of my best friends died of a drug overdose and he was a good kid and just caught up in some crap. Stay positive and let the negative things that happen be an inspiration to appreciate every day to it's fullest and not overlook the small things most people don't regularly appreciate everyday. Everything happens for a reason, keep your head held high, my prayers are with you and your family. GOD BLESS MY DOMERDOMAIN BROTHER!
