It's great to not have to worry about teams running games no matter how good they are...I always think back to the uconn game in chucks last year when they just ran at will and its amazing how far we've come...no run game will force sunseri to pass and he can be dangerous...I actually think he gets over 300 yards passing...but it'll be one of those 20-40 for 320 yards 1 TD and 3 picks type of game

QB Tino Sunseri is having is best year, throwing at 65 percent over 2100 yards and 13 TD 2 INT.

If I had a worry it would be the height of their Receivers, both in the 6'4-6'5 range.

Like Irish said. I'd be shocked if they could run on us, I'm just that confident in our front 7.

If we come to play we will be the most physical team they play all year and I think we'll impose our will by the end of the game

Ok, so what i see is golson rolling out and passing for 13 yd strikes. Golson on happy feet pocket but finally connecting with tyler regularly on 12 yd strikes. 3 deep, 50+ passes to "downtown brown" (credit to __who?___). Probably another 35 yds to Toma. Cierre, theo, ga3, cam & eg combine for 350 yds rushing.

Im not into predicting scores n shit, but.... This could get ugly for pitt

I just hope mark may picks homer-esque blowout win for pitt

Typical time for a let down, but it shouldn't matter.

Here's what I see. Golson admittedly felt more pressure at home. He has not played his best at home. Well, we get over that hump this week. Seriously, that is the goal, that and keeping everyone healthy.

Haven't done my homework on Pitt. Appreciate what any of you guys bring to the table. I love analyzing these games and Faith puts up the videos. Totally awesome.

They've hit there groove lately close loss to cuse 10 pt game with undefeated Louisville wins over buffalo and blow out of temple... Yeah none of those teams are world beaters but this team is much better than they were earlier in the year...they still seem to shoot themselves in the foot ranking 86th in penalties per game...they rank 102nd in stopping teams on 3rd down....their junior RG went down last week which is the first injury they've had on their line this year which has given up 20 sacks this year so we should be able to get to sunseri

Looking at the depth chart, here is what I see.

HUGE offensive line. Smallish center at 295, but the rest are 310 and 320. Big boys up front and they like to run. Fortunately, that plays right into our strength.

Like others said, Sunseri isn't going to beat us, especially if he doesn't have a run game to keep things balanced, have PA pass, etc.

They do have big, physical WR's. 6'4 and 6'5. That does worry me a little that they'll be able to just toss it high to them. But, that won't work all game enough to win.

On defense, they are SMALL. Their three LBs aren't much bigger than our safeties. Smaller Dline. Play a 4-3. Even smaller and definitely less physical than OU. No big time play making safeties like OU.

We should be able to run all over them and set up the pass. Goal should be 250 yards on the ground.

Now, they rank as a top 30 defense, but again, they haven't played hardly anyone. Outside of Miami and maybe Navy, will be the worst defense we've played. I'd think 35 points should be the goal here.

My issue with this game, is there will be a let down. The first 8 games were pretty much all difficult games. Navy, first game we didn't really know how good we'd be. Purdue, obvious jet lang, tough to practice week, MI/MSU both top 10 programs at the time we played them. Miami, huge offense and we didn't really know yet how good the D was, Stanford, huge game, BYU could have been let down but we knew they were good, but tough game. OU huge game. So we really haven't had a easy game going in.

Pitt should be that easy game. But I don't think it will be, but mainly because of us. I think we cover, but the first half might be kind of close.
