OklahomaIrish
Kenny Stills is an arrogant athlete that thinks very highly of himself. I hear that from local sources including my OU daughter. He caught the pass against Bennet Jackson that they thought was a touchdown. It was right there where I was seated. Stills popped up and was smack talking to Jackson, he kept going on and on after the play and even from the sidelines. I told the people sitting around me, "He didn't get in". They assured me he did get in. Suddenly the play is reviewed. He did not get in. Stills was beside himself and on the ensuing play he pushed off on KieVarae Russell. I wish it had been Jackson, but the penalty cost them a touchdown and then Landry gets sacked. What an awesome ending to the game. I really think our players are just plain smarter and keep cooler heads.
Franco
I'd imagine all Bennett Jackson has to say is "scoreboard"
IRISH812
Yeah Stills is classless and him getting that frustrated at the end really speaks volumes of how Jackson is becoming a top flight corner
2lakes
OK. Reality. I've read that BJ likes to trash talk. In fact, I think most corners do. He got under the young man's skin and Stills lost his cool. By this evening, those guys could probably go get a beer together (if they were of age of course) and enjoy each others' company. OklahomaIrish
2Lakes, you're ruining my thread. I'm trying to show the animosity between the two programs and you're being all nice and friendly.
irishwavend
I honestly don't care about Oklahoma... 9-1. They're pretty irrelevant in terms of our history. We dominate their face regularly.

Hey, you need to concentrate on soothing the hard feelings from that domestic Civil War you just experienced at your crib.
OklahomaIrish
Let's see, should I respond to Wave or 2Lakes?? Yes, Oklahoma is irrelevant. I've known that since I was a toddler.

yikityyakirish
The best WR's and DB's talk trash.....Remember Golden? What about T.O. and Randy Moss? Cortland Finnegan? All great players all knew it and told you about it

All great players all knew it and told you about it The thing about most players who trash talk is they don't look like an idiot by continuing the trash talking long after the play is I over...not to mention he actually had some animosity behind it...and also they don't do it when (not) scoring a meaningless touchdown right when you're about to lose
Katzenboyer
I have to admit, I got pretty hot under the collar when stills was jarring with Jackson at the end and had a few choice words to say at the TV. I just don't like that kind of garbage at the end of the game when your team is completely out of it. I also didn't like the timing of Stills' douchiness, coming after Notre Dame players showed support for applauded an injured Oklahoma player who had just been crunched by Okwara. I DID, however, love the fact that Stills' talk seemed to light a fire under the rest of the defense, as the next play they sacked Jones to end the game. Justice, if you ask me. SpecialFNK
I was wondering what Stills teammates were going to say to him about the obvious and unnecessary push off for offensive pass interference. they were 1st and goal from the 1, but after his stupid penalty it cost them 15 yards. can't imagine his teammates being happy about that. not that another TD would have made a difference for them, but he was still being stupid. serves him right though. he/they got what they deserved. no TD at the end of the game. chirodomer
Zeke was barking like a dog to anyone in his range last night. He talked and talked and talked.
Double_Domer
B/c of the way the moron Stills was carrying on after the play and then it being overturned, I turned to my wife and said "OK is going to have a personal foul on the next play." I then predicted that Stills would be the one to do it by pushing one of ND's players. It was written all over his face. I love being right. Also, the victory was so sweet b/c of all my OK in-laws are now silent. I just tell them hey guys you can't spell "yOU suck" without OU...another year of sticking the needle in :cheer2:
Katzenboyer
Zeke was barking like a dog to anyone in his range last night. He talked and talked and talked. If you notice, Zeke started jarring when Stills (shocking!) came up and blocked him in his neck/head area after the play was over. There was another chippy play a few plays later, and that's when Zeke really got into it (with Stills. Noticing a trend here?) This happened in the first quarter, with OU up 3-0. I re-watched the game with my Irish eyes taken off & saw a few things I liked from OU.
