OklahomaIrish
I have a hundred little stories to tell! First, I would be honored to be known as the The Mayor of DomerDomain. Don't we have another 'Tim' that is the mayor of South Bend? Anyway. When either team was about to kick off the noise was deafening. It was like a loud 'singing' of a steady note, like the Irish fans do just before we kick off. After the ball was kicked there was a moment of silence. At that moment I yelled (every time) at the top of my lungs. I R I S H. I think everyone in the stadium could hear me. More later. I am off to get my oldest daughter, Shawna, some coffee from OnQue (almost next door!). It was the greatest night in her life. She did not wear an OU hat..."Dad, I just can't". domeanddomer
I'd be happy to be unseated by you man! Your day sounds amazing. I am really glad that EVERYTHING worked out perfectly. One question though. What was your victory beverage of choice?

One question though. What was your victory beverage of choice? You are not unseated Timbo. You are the Mayor of South Bend. I am the mayor of Domer Domain. Funny you should mention the beverage of choice. Since we stayed in the stadium so long after the game, we missed the shuttle back to our car at the Notre Dame tailgate party. So we had to walk about a mile and half through the OU campus. I intentionally did not have anything to drink during the game so I did not have to go pee. When we were walking back my throat was parched and I was dehydrated. I came upon a group of Irish lads drinking mightily. I asked them for a cold beer. To my wife's amazement they brought me over to the cooler and named all their brews. They popped the top of , I think it was a Samuel Adams, and toasted with us. I got my cold beer to continue our walk and told my wife how this is all one big family, unlike any other school.

OklahomaIrish
Okie, email me a pic of you with your daughters and I'll do you up a nice memorial of this great weekend... May take me a while Rocket. I'm not the technical wizard you are, but I will try to get it done. Irish tidbit: We were having a blast Friday in the lobby of the Sharaton Hotel. For some reason I wanted a picture of me and the little African American cheeleader we have. I knew her name was Mariah like my daughter. Sure enough, she comes by and I got the picture. Now I didn't personally take any pictures. It is my friends and kids that take pictures, so maybe I never get a copy of this one for my Notre Dame Shrine, but I bet I do. I got everything I asked for this weekend including the victory and the long pass to Chris Brown.

OklahomaIrish
Rocket, can you pull pictures off Facebook? My daughter knows how to get them off Facebook and send them to Walmart. I pick them up and frame them. On my Facebook page there is a link to the story and video done by the Oklahoman. My Facebook is simply under Timothy Flenniken. I was in the endzone where OU thought they had scored at the end of the game. I turned to the OU guys and said, "He didn't get in". They assured me he did get in. Well, as you all know the play was reviewed. He didn't get in. The insuing pass interference call against the OU receiver was like icing on the cake. I was OK to give them a late score, but they didn't get it. Guys, it was our day.

Were you telling me there is another where they interviewed you and both daughters together? I need to find that one yet. There is a story by KFOR channel 4 is Oklahoma City with both daughters. Shows Bailey rehearsing with the OU band and shows Theo Riddick busting off a big run! I couldn't find it and neither could my youngest daughter, but it was maybe the best of all of them.
