Rocketsan 881
I can be a donkey sometimes but I'm smart enough to see that this was one hell of a special weekend for you that you'll likely never forget. Congratulations you crazy old bastard. I love you. Jeff
SpeedsterX 752
He may be a crazy bastard! But he's OUR crazy bastard! And he deserves all the praise that comes along with this game than anyone on the board. Bask in the Irish glory Tim! And God bless your daughters and wife! Rocketsan 881
Could have swore I saw him in the crowd with his OU hat on sitting near the end zone. If he confirms that's where he was, I'll find it and do a screen cap...

FaithInIrish Forever 5,591
Notre Dame looks so right with a mobile QB.. I wondered if I'd ever witness a great Notre Dame moment. Tonight I watched one and felt like I was dreaming. Cloud 9, this is a feeling I will never forget.
tdnd81 2
Notre Dame looks so right with a mobile QB.. I wondered if I'd ever witness a great Notre Dame moment. Tonight I watched one and felt like I was dreaming. Cloud 9, this is a feeling I will never forget. As I get older I understand how rare these moments are. I remember 1988 sitting with my dad watching the NC, years later I remember the pass right game at UW when we made the short trip to Seattle. At home with my bros and my Dad tonight will be a day I will never forget ! I got a call from my wife before the game and she said she walked down the stairs into my ND basement. She was holding my daughter and out on the blue she reached up to hit the PLAC sign. My 10 month old has been trained to hit the sigh with me holding her. My Wife was confused but realized she wanted to hit the sign. I will not say Julia is the reason we won but wow to get a baby brainwashed is awesome. Sometimes I forget and go down the stairs and go right by the sign the she has her hand up. She reminds me without being able to talk. I step back and she whacks the sign. Now that I am crying I can say I love you guys at DD !!
OklahomaIrish 0
Yes Rocket (Jeff), I was in the endzone with my red hat. That stadium was electric, hostile, and loud, but we were composed, confident and determined. I just got home. It took almost two hours to get out of Norman. At the end of the game I went over to the Notre Dame band and got pictures with Mariah and my daughter Bailey came over from the OU band. I also had my oldest daughter Shawna that had played in the Notre Dame band and graduated in 2002. OH, and my youngest daughter Hannah that now wants to play in the Notre Dame band. The whole experience today was absolutely unbelievable. We had a tailgate party that with hundreds of Domers and all my local Irish buds. I saw many of my old Oklahoma University friends and they all came up to give me hugs. I have been interviewed by the South Bend Tribune, Channel 57 in South Bend, The Daily Oklahoman, and channel 4 (KFOR) in Oklahoma City. I will go to Mass Monday morning with the 60 OU fans and I will show them how not to be arrogant. When we were taking pictures over by the Notre Dame band, the Irish band members were chanting~~Mariah, Mariah, Mariah. The OU band came over to salute the Notre Dame band and they made a long line and slapped hands with all the Notre Dame band members. Basically, it was the best game I have ever attended and I am flat worn out. I know Florida lost and USC lost. I know Michigan lost~~somebody needs to do a thread about the winning percentage, they have lost three games this year and Denard was hurt. Need to pull up my thread about being 11-0. Let's beat Pitt and Mark May. I love my Domer Domain family. The Fighting Irish are my passion and you guys give me my little world to exist and escape the realities and hardships of life. God Bless all of you. Tim

And for a guy who has loved EG since the get, well, to see him play that way on the road against OU? The best. Oh and FINALLY on Chris Brown! Wow...
