"Herbie, the young QB Everett Golson is growing up right in front of our eyes."

"You know Herbie, it's never been done, but I think Mr. Te'o may have put himself into the drivers seat for the Heisman with this performance tonight."

Wow, as I read that I could hear him saying it. Perhaps it's my skilled imitation. Perhaps he's actually right behind me reading it over my shoulder. Perhaps I have some synapses that are a wee bit overactive. Irregardless, if only we could hear one of those tomorrow...

Totally agree. Classic Musburger expressions. Wouldn't be surprised at all to hear either during the brodcast.

I've said it before, and I'll reiterate it: This is the game that could transform Everett Golson into a Notre Dame legend. He can shred OU's defense. They will sell out for the run. This game is all on Jones and Golson.

How about "Herbie, you're looking awful good. How about at half time we head down to the wardrobe RV?"

I could totally here him say that too, I even had him mispronouncing Everett and Manti's name in my head.

Brent: "Oh look at that Mr. Herbstreit! Notre Dame has come out in the full wishbone. My oh my won't Barry Switzer be happy."

Kirk: "You're right Brent. You can sense the fans here in Norman are a bit confused by the nostalgia of the formation and half the crowd doesn't know who to cheer for."

Something Musburger will almost certainly say to open the broadcast:

"You're looking live at sold out Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma..."

or some variation thereof. He always seems to open w/ the "You're looking live" line

It's Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium...
