set the South Jersey record tonight for most rushing yards in a career. He now has 5,390. Tonight he has 25 carries for 226 yards.

Its easy to assume letting this player get away would be a mistake. Hopefully the staff comes around on this.

aloha's

As much as people seem to think James is a steal, I think Clement is a special player. Probably better than him and folston, seems like a guy with the whole package. If this guy came here he wouldn't split carries, he would carry the load. However we are loaded at back, he can compete when Atkinson is gone.

Offer, maybe provisional, promise to Folston, attitude, academics, attempt to commit... we will never ever know all the details of this recruitment, but I guarantee you it is much more complicated than just "he wanted to commit and we said 'no' because we prefer Folston."

ISD just tweeted that he decommitted from pitt and has wisconsin as his leader.

I still would take Khalfani Muhammad regardless if the chance was there with his obvious speed. You can't teach speed and I know we need another pure running back so yes get one you want but I would like Muhammad's speed as well.

Hmmmm, an indication of folston's interest? My wishful thinking can't help but wonder.

Supposedly, Clement is making a decision this Friday at his school's pep rally.

Doubt he's Irish. We had our chance from what I gathered. If this kid truly wanted to commit, think the staff should have taken him. Still scratching my head over turning down Tommy Schutt and Taylor McNamara last year.

sort of feel the same way, not sure who he picks but i think ND should have taken him if he wanted to come. would be nice to lock up a big time RB in this class.

Wisconsin after the visit. ND was waiting on Folston (and I personally think James as well since he had never visited). James fills the big back role so Clement was out. I think Corey will be a really good player in college but it's how recruiting goes. Lets hope James stays and ND can add another slot/RB guy.

McNamara would have been added if not for the cluster eff that went down. ND just had too many TEs (at the time). Him and Rios sucked to lose.

Schutt would never have been ours, ultimately. He desperately wanted to go to OSU, but when Tressel was fired he looked elsewhere. Even if we had taken his commitment, ultimately, he would have ended up a Buckeye once Urban was hired.

McNamara is a different case. Couldn't quite tell if it was that we were loaded at TE, or if we wanted him at a different position.

Will be announcing his commitment tomorrow, sounds like hes headed to Wisconsin. I don't think he wanted to wait for ND and the Folston decision.

If it is the Badgers, they will be getting a very tough Jersey back, Too bad for us.

We should have took this kid while we had the chance.....

I'm ok with Folston or bust at RB given how the numbers are going especially after Lukes commitment.

AQM and one of Redfield/Moore seem probable.

Maybe another possible WR in Robinson/Treadwell. I think both of those guys are top 5-10 outside WR in the country.

There just aren't many spots left.

What a freaking turnaround from 365 days ago. 8 and 0, recruiting class that is going to end up top 5 if not 1 or 2. Need to send BK some flowers.

I think Corey is going to be great back and fits Wisconsin well. I like Jamel James though too and they were too similar to take both. And as a reminder Jamel James does have offers from LSU, USC, FSU, OU and Clemson. I feel what you are saying though.
