The wife thought I was nuts...the kids thought what is dad screaming like a madman...on the final stand.

We did it. We are finally back.

All the pain and heartbreak and brutal losses recently...and now, now its our time.

I believe.

Finally.

We are ND.

Me too. My two year old thought I was going crazy. Then I picked him up and ran around and said ND WON!! ND WON!!!! and ran around with him. He was laughing hysterically.

You know I feel the same way. I predicted a mediocre season (7-5 or 6-6) and I am enjoying this big crow...my wife and daughter bought I was crazy when we held them in overtime!!!

Enjoy it fellow fans, this is a special group and we have a special coach who is taking this program special places.

Me too. My wife thought I was nuts tearing up. I wanted to be on that field as a student again so, so bad. A game for the ages!

When they upheld the call after review, I yelled "Yes, YES YEESS!" and our dog promptly jumped on my chest and started licking my face because I freaked him out.

The offense is still a work in progress but this defense is for real.

We have been scarred with too many letdowns. Today, we are the victors!!!

For Our Lady!!!

This may seem "weird" for some but I too feel the rain at the end of the game was tears from Heaven. My Grandfather passed away last February and obviously, was a HUGE Notre Dame fan. At the exact moment Stanford was stopped at the goal line on 4th down, even before the Official rulling our sound-system at Dads went absolutely haywire!!!! The volume continued to go up and down: and it switched between ALL settings. I truly feel my Pap was there rallying on the Irish with us!!! Love ya Pop

Hey, let's not forget that our fellow Canuck, TJ Jones (born in Winnipeg) got the go ahead TD. The Stand was amazing, but a Canadian got us the win!!

He gave a shout out to Winnipeg as well...(I was born there too).

PS Still can't believe we pulled it out..loving it!!!

I was screaming the loudest I think That I have ever screamed before at the end of the game. My 2 year old daughter did not know what to think of it. I screamed TOUCHDOWN and my son said "JESUS". I then knew, we had another ND fan. GO IRISH.

ps. He's only 3!:hail:

My son and I just went absolutely nuts. He is 12 and I told him that one day he is going to tell his son about this game and how he watched it with me. He jumped into my arms and I picked him up over my head and he yelled out "Go Irish!!!" I nearly threw my back out....it was so worth it though!

What a game! What a season so far! What a defense!

We are ND!!!

Yep my twin boys 6 told me to stop screaming. ( they get yelled at all the time for it)

Yeah my wife would come out about every ten minutes and tell me i was crazy. And that they couldnt hear me screaming at the stadioum.

I'm excited about the win. I had tears coming down my face too! Finally!

That was as loud and excited as ive been at the end of a game in a long long time.

I was calm, cool, and collected... did my golf clap after the TD and 4th down stop. Those plays deserved such emotion.

I lost my mom last month. I hear you brother.

Right there with you guys. After I put the kids down the wife said you screamed really loud (she has been with me 12 years)

Bottom line, these are games ND lost EVERY SINGLE TIME the last 15 years. When ND scored in OT I knew the game was over. A feeling I havent had in who knows how many years. Hey will ND go 12-0 Prob not but WOW I am a happy SOB Cheers !!

Prayers for your loss you guys. Things do happen for a reason, tears from heaven sounds good to me.

No $hit, huh!? Almost lost my voice! My 6 kids went haywire in confusion.

Some great comments here. Laughing. Can so relate.

Watched the game downstairs in the man cave.

Surround sound overpowered by the yelling.

The cat knows not to stick around.

Freaked it out years ago during a game.

Sore throat this morning. What a game!
