Three out of 5 games hes sucked and has cost the team. One game hes been good.

If hes going to not be smart with the ball, he can at least be athletic and run a tebow-like offense.

Done with the Golson experiment

You're an idiot, who was conspicuously absent on these boards after the Miami game. So...STFU.

Golsons lack of presence mentally pisses me off

have you seen how often golson has had to use his feet to avoid pressure? rees would have been sacked a dozen times already

He has rolled with no pressure regardless. Even Rees is expected to roll out even though he has lead shoes. Its a called-play. The football pat and the double-pumps are killing ND.

Golson has no freakin clue what hes doing unless his first option is open. Let me change my stance. keep Golson if he can run the spread and not be expected to run a traditional offense.

It really must suck hoping your team's QB does poorly so that you can say, "told ya so." You were quiet after the Miami game given your ripping of Golson prior to it. Now if Golson does really well in the 2nd quarter you will feel foolish. You'll no doubt come back and say something to the effect that you hope Golson can prove you wrong, but you really don't. Sounds like it sucks to be you.

EG is our offense right now. The O line is our problem right now. There is no time for EG to do much. If we can stop their pressure then our offense will come alive.

Rees would be more susceptible to a sack, but, then again, it was a sack that gave Stanford their points against Golson. It's really up to Golson here to make the right calls, find his reads, pull the trigger in a timely manner, and protect the ball.

The D has actually performed better than I even thought they would. But the O is playing scared. And that's mostly on Everett. I am OK with him playing like a red shirt freshman, but don't make mistakes like getting sacked in the endzone. And if you do, don't give them 7.

We'll see if Golson comes back under center. I would leave him in. It's time to define this season based on what Golson can do. He is the weakest link right now, and it is time for him to elevate instead of abrogate.

Bull. I was here. Liked what i saw with the running game and Golson in tandem. They are not doing that right now. Golson isnt going to win a game with his arm imo. sorry

I disagree with this. I think the O line is doing yeomen's work, but Golson has to call a better game out there, and when 7 are rushing, he has to find and hit the open receiver.

Your apology is accepted.

Golson is not playing very well but from what I have seen it has been bad play calling and horrible blocking that is the most at fault. He is not getting out and rolling the pocket much which is what he is going to have to do if the line won't block. Stanford has a great pass rush and our little runs are useless up the middle for more then about 3-4 yards and they aren't fearing anything. The receivers are getting open and we need to find a way to get Golson time to hit them. If you aren't going to call plays to benefit the mobile QB then put your veteran pocket guy in and take your chances. I would rather have the mobile player in there and take more shots to Eifert.

The offensive line, including Troy, is sucking it up. Throw in the fact that BK refuses to run any screens or quick slants and you have what you have. They will regroup at half and come back to show they are the better team here!

How many mothers and aunts does Golson have on this board?

C'mon, man. If we don't hold him responsible, he won't hold himself.

It is a team game, and the whole offense needs to do better. But it is going to have to start with number 5.

Golson is just not very consistent. Looks and plays scared at times and does not see the field well. I also agree, poor play calling (no slants, no screens, slow developing runplays) poor TE blocking as well. I do not have high hopes for the second half. Hope I am wrong...

The online is crapping the bed. Put in Rees because he can get the all out quickly.

Rees would be sacked 8 times with teh pressure they are getting.

Hes rolling on a clean pocket.
