The guy he reminds me of and i hate saying this b/c of their figures but he reminds alot of Ralf Friedgen (sp?) at Maryland. Both were very successful assistants. Both have a no-nonsense attitue. Both were probably overlooked b/c of their weight. both have superbowl experience as coordinators. i think thier alot of parallels between the 2.

Tobey, you may be on to something. There are definitely a lot of parallels. In my opinion though, Charlie Weis reminds me of...........Charlie Weis! If he accomplishes what I truly believe he will, CW will become the standard-bearer for all future coaching changes. I want to hear announcers talking about Coach So-and-so coming back to his alma mater hoping to have the same miraculous effect as CW had on Notre Dame.

CW and Schnellenberger had very similar paths, that's all I was saying.
