Gameday usually has a celebrity type figure from the host school pick games at the end of the show.

Who are your guesses for this week? I've come up with:

Tim Brown

Rocket

Regis Philbin

Lou

Vince Vaughn?

Vince Vaughn would be great and a nice pull for the young kids. Regis is ALWAYS AWESOME though.

Skylar Diggins or Vaughn would be my choices from a marketability standpoint.

Ara Parseghian?

i think for appeal, ND should market their brand to the younger crowd. JMO.

Skylar Diggins would be a grand slam.

Would a current student athlete be allowed? Not sure.

Also not sure if ND picks the person or if Gameday picks the person.

Maybe Mike Golic since he'll be down there anyway? They are filming the Mike and Mike show live down there on Friday morning - I'll be tuning in on Friday morning to watch :) That's 3 live shows:

1) Mike and Mike (ESPN Radio Show)

2) NBC

3) ESPN GameDay

mike golic

regis philbin

brad lidge

dick vitale

vince vaughn

sean austin (in his rudy jacket)

For a marketability standpoint:

1. Vince Vaughn

2. Sky (might not be able to do it)

3. Vitale

4. Golic and Greeny

As an alum, I'd LOVE to see Washington High School repped by Skylar, but I think Regis would be the most "entertaining." Wouldn't mind either seeing the aforementioned Sean Astin, yes, definitely in the classic jacket! (wonder if he actually knows anything about football though.)

Norm, he was at the street jam on stage at eddie commons for the michigan game. Said something like he always liked ND and married a girl from ND so has now become a ND fan. Seemed to be really enjoying himself.

Very nice!

Tom Brey. (+ more characters) edit...or MIKE Brey.

or....Dick Vitale...

Don't know if "Jerry Faust" was in jest...but the guy, Gerry Faust was 30-26-1, a class act, and continues to support the university, I would have no problem with him doing it either.

Anyone but that traitorerous Joe Montana fellow. Seriously, has there been a worse alumni over the last decade?
