Boy how time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were making predictions for this game, can't believe it's been almost a year since we played Stanford.

I'm sure many of you have hardly even thought about Stanford, much less thought about what the score might be, so to recap:

Big front 7.

Good against the run.

Susceptible to the big play.

Young QB.

Good TE's.

Armed with that information, let's see some predictions for this game!

I'll go with 20-6 ND.

On a completely unrelated side note, I'm so glad Catholics don't believe in superstition. I mean really, can you imagine having to wear the same jersey, sit in the same spot, eat the same food and hold the same "lucky charm" every week just so ND can win. Really, how tedious would that get after awhile? Jeez, ND is clearly going to win or lose on their own merit on the field every week right? Right?

(Yeah, I saw we don't take any chances either) :spy:

I was the first to predict it in the FIRST prediction thread! ;)

Shhhhhhhhhh! This is the FIRST prediction thread....there was no other.....forget anything you may have heard or think you may have seen.

dont see how stanford is going to move the ball.

27 - 10

Stage is all set for our IRISH to show the entire nation that Kelly has our great program back!!!!

Shimbo and Teo are gonna keep their TE's in check.

Irish - 24

Trees - 12

NO td streak continues!!!

Plus Golson showed us he is the future last week against the U....His arm is strong like NFL strong!!!

Third week...and I dont' see it as picking 'against' the Irish, but more as guessing based on the pain of the past two decades.

Get some counseling for that brother. lol...

Notre Dame - 20

Standord - 17

ND wins a slug fest due to the fact they have more speed and a few more playmakers on offense then does stanford.

Irish-23

Stanford-17

ND 11 Tree 2.

24-13 nd..

I don't understand how anyone can predict that a team like Stanford would be the first one to break through on our defense in over a month...

17-3 Irish

well, the defense cant hold this NO TD thing forever, it is simply too hard... but anyone saying Stanford is going to score 20 points or more simply has not been watching CFB the past few weeks.

Yea. Lets be honest, we are one dropped pass from having our first passing TD against us last week. It's going to happen and I suspect it will be by a good team like Stanford.

All this hype giving me a baaad feeling

That being said, i don't want to jinx it so i'll keep my prediction to myself

I am kinda in this camp...

That said, F-it

ND 31

Stanford 17

ND=27

Stanford=13

No more Andrew Luck...No more All American Guard and Tackle....No more home field advantage

I think we can all agree that stanford isn't as good as last year and ND is better than last year pretty much flip the score from last year haha

20-10, Irish. The Irish get back into the turnover category with a fumble recovery and an interception. Plus, Stephon Tuitt gets another sack, along with Prince Shembo. We don't see Rees this game, the run game is slowed but we still see one RB with a 100-yard game. Golson is looking at 150-ish yards with a lone TD to Jones or Eifert. Either I'm going to look like Nostra-freaking-damus or just another guy who thinks he knows something about ND football. :)

A good team might beat ND, but Stanford won't be that team. I agre w/ some others -- Stanford's passing game won't do well in the red zone.

ND 24

Stanford 12
