If we scored 10 points, we beat them by 10. I don't see Stanford doing anything offensively against us.

They have pretty good tight ends. I see them getting a lot of stuff in the middle. Then again, the middle has been a pretty unsafe place for ND opponents with Manti on the prowl. I think they are vulnerable on defense (Arizona put up 48 points after getting shut out by Oregon) and have potential on offense.

Everything is set up for an epic showdown every week for ND. I hope that the playbook stays open for Ev. Stanford's linebacker is probably the best defensive playmaker we have seen all year outside of Golston. It will be interesting to see how the game plan fairs against him. I saw Golic pull a couple times and lay a solid block on the LB against Miami, we will see how the game fares against Skov.

I said this in another thread but Stanford's achilles heel is a mobile QB. They're freaking strong and nasty up front, but they have no speed and a mobile QB always makes their defense pay.

Look at what Hendrix did to Stanford. Granted, he was still too green to make them pay, but with a mobile QB in (Hendrix), all of a sudden, we were picking up yards in huge chunks.

I'm pretty confident our team can beat Stanford

That line is way too high, IMO.

I'm a nervous wreck for this game.

Kenneth Massey's computer program states.....we are 72% likely to win and the score will be 21-14 ND.

Congrove Computer Predictor says....ND is favored and the spread should be -5.9

If I was betting, I'd take ND and be willing to give up 6.5 points. No more than that though. I "hope" we beat them 28-3, lol.

Stanford = MSU

ND 38 Stanford 24

Kool aid is going down good !!!

Wow, you think they get 24?

If our D plays their best game and their O plays it's best game, I don't think they would score more than 13.

The game starts 0-0.

ND loses only if we let them win...

Stanford = MSU

i think this is very true. the problem is that msu now is not the same as when we played them. just as golson is improving in his first year, so has maxwell become a little more comfortable in the passing game. similarly nunes looked awful against washington and i thought we would be able to control them fairly easily, but it seems like he had his break-out game against arizona like golson had against miami. if golson plays without turnovers and mixes it up like against miami, i think we win, but it will be a dogfight.

I think the same goes for Nunez too though. He's starting to play alot better. their offense is not so one dimensional anymore.

Hahahaha...that's funny. The Purdue boys made Gholston look like a J.V. player...

Do you mean Indiana?

Gholston has looked bad all year. For someone who was supposed to be a dominating, first round pick, I've watched three of their games and can count on one hand the impact plays he has made, and I might only need a finger or two, of I'm being generous.

No I meant that the Purdue d-line we faced made Gholston look average...they were a far bigger challenge than he was.
