If you take the time to read all these posts, your head may explode. Maybe I am biased but I am glad that DD contains mostly informed individuals that don't talk out of their butt.

Miami is questioning our integrity for only benching Golson for 3 plays? HAHA! To me this would be like a convicted serial killer pointing a finger at someone breaking the law for j- walking.

Golson was tardy for a team meeting because he was with a professor. They're just confused about why a football player has a "professor"... ;)

According to the "U" integrity means having shady boosters lead your team on the field.

They don't know the whole story...

I have to admit - I had to stop reading that guys 6-line, 1 sentence run on.

But when I saw this thread, I wondered if anyone would mention about BK calling a time out with a minute and change on the clock.

I know he had the 2nd and 3rd stringers in there, and also did not call a pass on that last drive (or at least he didn't once we got in their territory), but by calling that TO it was pretty clear he wanted to get people on the same page to stuff it in the end zone when the game was won.

Anyone else have thoughts on that?

may be considered running up the score, but he had the 2nd and 3rd stringers in and running the ball every play. Cam was doing so well that Kelly thought the deserved a TD chance. I know some may have a problem with it, but there was almost 6 minutes left when we got the ball, we ran it all the way down the field with our 4th String RB... the guy deserves a TD.

That plus ND couldn't run out the clock by kneeling. I guess they could have kneeled and gave the ball back with 1 minute or so, but it was 2nd, 3rd stringers and runs up the middle.

It's Miami, I don't care!

Yeah, I'm with you - not only did they have the lowest string possible in the game, they ran the same play left and right almost the same drive.

But I thought they could have left the clock running and still called the same play to get the same result (unless maybe the play clock was running way low?). By Kelly calling the time out, I thought he might raise eyebrows but it sounds like it didn't.

The assholes are still saying Kelly got Sullivan killed.

It's Miami, I don't care!

AMEN!

We should have went for 2! Why? Because they won't let you go for 3!

I remember 58-7.

I remember punt block with a 52-7 lead and under 5 minutes to play.

I remember those Miami players mugging for the camera in 1985...

Screw them, they didn't want us to score, they should not have quit trying to stop us...

what a bunch of ass clowns over there...no, we are not nearly as young as miami but just about...we are still a year or two away from full potential...

Sore losers getting ready to get hammered by the NCAA because of thier low morals.

2nd meeting in a row that they quit. Lets forget Miami. College football already has. They are the essence of irrelevance.

+1

I for one wanted the 3 or 4 (of the 500 or 600) miami fans left in my section to be demoralized with another touchdown.

But, more than that, it was clear BK was trying to run the clock out and give the 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers meaningful playing time. Once Cam started knocking them on their butts I thought it was only right for him to get the td.

There are other teams that do run up the score as they think its style points. I don't think (I hope) that wasn't the case. However, as this is coming from miami fans, it's sour grapes. Put the shoe on the other foot, they would have done the samething.

GO IRISH!!!

Who cares if it was style points, those things do matter. KState won 52-13 vs Miami. 41-3 looks a lot better than 34-3.
