There's a nobody sports guy on a local radio station that I had the misfortune of hearing on my way to work this morning. He was blabbing about how this optimism is wasted, "ND will still suck." He came back to it later and talked about how magical Ty's 1st season was even though he had "no talent" and "none of them were drafted or currently play in the NFL." Thankfully, the producer gave the guy's email addy. Rest assured I am gonna light him up on Monday morning. Sure, there are bigger fish to fry.......ahem.......Corso, Alberts.....ahem........but this poor kid will probably only get a handful of emails any given day, and mine will surely make the air. I'm waiting until Monday for maximum effect, plus the added security of the Pitt game.

Actually I'm beginning to think some of these sports experts the hiring interview went. "What do you know about footbaal? Actually nothing but if I attack Notre Dame we get attention or if I kiss Notre Dame we get attention>" (That's it period.) 1 day to go Jeese........

It's not even that John. This guy is basically some turd who happens to have no life so he consequently is very good at fantasy football. He can also wax intellectual with most common fans and seem brilliant because he reads the sports page every day and they don't. In fact, that's all he does on this particular morning show........reads the sports page over the air. I was fine with it until this no-talent a**-clown tried to give commentary on a subject that a.) he knows NOTHING about, and b.) is VERY near and dear to my heart. I haven't written the email yet, but trust me, it's already finished in my head.

I was watching PTI friday and a certain sports writer said he didn't think the Irish will be very good with the talent they have and that he didn't think ND had the right QB for the job. This came right after a 5 minute interview with Ty. NOT THE RIGHT QB????? I think this guy thinks we should have stayed with Holiday too!!!!

Hey Irisheyes I wonder if they will be giving 5 minute interviews or any interviews when Ty goes 1-10 or worse?

I don't have cable so I am unable to catch the bits and piece of GAMEDAY on ESPN. Therefor, I am watching RUDY .. I'm thinking I will play some on my ND cd's around the house as well.

Domehead, the win on Saturday put me in such a great mood, I decided not to waste my time on "Jer-Dogg." I was still considering it on the way to work today, until I actually managed to catch his "sports report" again. He came right out and said he was an idiot and totally wrong. He said he will be watching the ND-Michigan game because the Irish look amazing. Besides, we've been here before, so what do I have to prove to some 2-bit know-nothing local radio sports guy? WE ARE ND!

Well my uncle left a message for Mark May at his voice mail( pretty interesting what he had to say especially at the end ) I have not written a letter to Corso yet because school just started up for me on sept 6 but if I have some time I will.
