One of the best performances if not the best performance of an ND team this century!!!

Simply DOMINATING in every way.

NO TURNOVERS!

HARDLY A PENALTY!

34 FIRST DOWNS!

TWO TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE RBs!

AN AWESOME DEFENSE THAT HASN'T ALLOWED A TD IN 3 GAMES!

A QB WITH SKY HIGH POTENTIAL HAVING HIS BEST GAME!

376 YARDS RUSHING!

17-22 PASSING PLUS 50 RUSHING - 250 YARDS OF OFFENSE FROM GOLSON!

CIERRE WOOD LOOKING FRESH AND BRUTAL!

Everything you could want---

THIS WAS A BIG TEST OF THE SECONDARY & THE QB---BOTH PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS!

Looking like a top 5 team---EYES OPENING ALL AROUND THE NATION!

Irish--looking real good!

I'm guessing you tuned in after the first series?

But yes, after those first few balls, the secondary played pretty well I'd say.

I'd put ND ahead of WVU, personally. WVU plays no D. It'll catch up eventually.

I was most impressed with the adjustments. If Miami had opportunities the whole game I'd be worried. They were shut....down. If we can do that against the sooners and Trojans, magical things could happen....

I'd agree. I'm willing to chalk that up to post-bye week, OMG we're playing again and these guys are pretty fast.

Even on the second ball, Motta played it right, he just didn't get deep enough.

For once, I completely agree with you. We dodged a bullet in the beginning, but the adjustments afterward were noteworthy.

Agreed. And this was by FAR the best play calling this season. Balance then destroy their will with the power running game. And finally, for me and many others, MORE GAIII!!

And more Wood. Funny how those two getting the ball more leads to 350+ rushing yards.

Miami yes, but those two are game changers at RB.

I loved the fact that no matter who was in the backfield we just ran down their throats. I know Miami's D is suspect but still gotta give credit to the O-line. They came out to play tonight.

Cory, you have to understand that in a read offense the QB gets us into those run plays at the line of scrimmage.

And it also helps when he is playing well as a thrower.

Everett did both better tonight, hence the big lean towward the run later.

It's a process.

I love you man, but respect and appreciate the process of bringing this kis a long

My buddy and I were watching the game together and rather than calling it "dodging a bullet" i believe I used the term cannonball instead of bullet. Even if they *had* hit those deep passes, I feel like this team would have shrugged it off and commenced the ass-whupping all the same. That's a great feeling to have right now.

I'm not sure what this means, but we're 5-0 baby!

Yes, I know Golson is part of the answer and him getting smarter gets the run game better.

However, Wood and GAIII are gamechangers at RB, when they get the ball more, the run game will be better.

Florida State lol

Looks like if you were a highly touted recruit that bailed on ND for overrated southern schools, you got owned tonight.

If Echo is happy about the adjustments, ND must be doing something right!

...now we just have to take care of the cardinal next week....can not afford a let down after a game like this...

No shit, right? I'm impossible to please and I'm surfing on cloud 9....

We are a very good football team, and equally importantly a very well-coached team.

We were turnovers away from winning 10 games last year.

That was the biggest thing we needed to correct, the turnovers.

And for fans the challenge was the patience of bringing a young QB along.

Btw, I was bitching that Rees didn't look improved enough for me the last two weeks, right? Then with what he did tonight? Maaaaannnnnnn...

Count me in as well...yes the game could have hinged had the Miami WR got both balls but the fact is we correctly adjusted and let our QB play. Then let our Oline impose their will in the second half to get us a resounding victory. Best win I've seen from the lads in a very long time...Love it!
