The G-Man is Ready for Prime Time

Recommended Posts

Yeah, give it to him. Great game under bright lights with a lot of pressure. No turnovers, nice passes, fantastic runs, and good decisions.

He's still a red shirt freshman, but he's playing himself out of that designation.

Now get a better watch, kid, start being a leader, and show us next week.

Oh, and let's hold on to that ball a lit-tle better. ;)

Can you explain to me why it took 5 games to make Golson into the QB he was supposed to be from the start?

He isn't a burner, but when he gets 8-10 carries like that, this is a whole different run game.

I know it was Miami, but he was an entirely different QB tonight. Still a ton to work on, but THAT is the Golson we all thought we were getting.

Are we blaming someone for being 5-0 here? C'mon, man. Time to enjoy.

No, not blaming anyone at all. I'm loving being 5-0. I'm just wondering why this Golson came out tonight.

I mean that all in a good way. He was a different QB. More confident, more decisive, pep in his step.

Maybe it was just the bye week, maybe he's starting to get it, my point is, he didn't look anything like the QB from the first 4 games. Not blaming anyone, just making a point.

Cory, he's 5-0 in his first real action and is a redshirt freshman. Give the man some leeway would ya :)

Alright. Gotcha.

It comes with being a red shirt freshman, which he still is BTW. I expect we'll see a little more of that freshmanness this season. Just have to absorb some of those mistakes, and keep on keeping on.

My question: Great game by the Irish across the board, except for the PR performance. We can't seem to give Davonte Neal that step he needs to break one. What do you gentlemen see as the problem there?
