Are we really getting on DGB for possession of pot? IMO, Drunk driving is wayyy worse

i am certainly not getting on him. as i have no room to talk. i just saw this on twitter and i wondered about our recruiting him.

Heck, the rumors are that the two guys who were suspended to start the season did the same thing, just didn't get arrested doing it.

 

Hate it, think it should be legal, Du Lac, whatever. Fact is, its a part of the college landscape wherever you go, and is a recreational activity for some real meat balls that are going nowhere fast in life, and some kids that end up doing great things.

I call BS on CollinKSU's claim to make it 3X. I know a few players who did during the Weis era, but nearly all of them? Absolutely not. And on this team, you seriously think there are that many? I can imagine a few, but I guarantee you that any of the guys that Manti's close with aren't doing it.

 

On a side note, does everyone remember how DGB's parents said they thought the moral environment at Missouri was better? His mother specifically critiqued the decorum of Kelly, given his propensity to scream on the sidelines.

When you've partied with the team within the last few years instead of living in a world where the team goes to church and does community service after every practice, you can refute me. ND's players could go smoke and beer for smoke and beer with any team in the country.

 

In the mean time, I won't personally be a hypocrite and judge another team's players for smoking pot. What do you think Utupo and Wood got benched for doing?

Growing up in South Bend, I will just say "Oh the stories they tell." Granted, that was from teams past and I have absolutely *zero* input on the current squad, but let's not pretend our fine young gentlemen are really just that. We've had some real characters on squads in the past.

Definitely not good news for him or Mizzou. I would love to see this kid play some though. His size is awesome and he's supposed to be the real deal. Hopefully, he will learn from this mistake.
