Have you read the Eric Hansen chat? This is a top source in my opinion.

He says DeVaris is fully healthy and is juiced up for this game in his home town. He also states how Chris Brown is going to see the ball and the extra week has allowed for developing this attack and healing Golson's throwing shoulder.

Speaking of juiced. I'm juiced for this game. I know we are going to break out at some point on offense. I think it will be Saturday night.

Okie when you say juiced some people will think of a steroid scandal!

speaking of juiced, I need some more steroids... :p

I did see the interview with DD and him talking about he is excited to play in Chicago, hopefully he has a big game this Saturday and shows the fanbase why he is the leading candidate to be the next #1 WR...

mods hopefully make that excited instead of juiced. But I knew there was something wrong with Everret's arm, the ball was not coming out right. Not making excuses but he was trying to guide the ball with his body and it went high and away, hes a guy who throws all arm, hope its better

Color me ~~ bad choice of wording. In my day when we were juiced we could be drunk.

I was thinking about next year when we have a very experienced quarterback and a fast paced offense. Chris Brown will be beefed up similar to DeVaris Daniels this year. Devonte Neal will be bigger and absolutely a playmaker from the slot and DeVaris will be juiced, I mean jacked, or pumped or.....

Anyway, these receivers along with TJ will be the best 'group' in a long long time. Niklas will be killer. (can I use that word?)

On paper, next year can be the year the offense is as good as the defense. Replace Golic with Nick Martin. OK, I need to chill and enjoy this year, but next off season me and Hawaii are going to be in rare form keeping guys pumped, or jacked, or juiced with the Kool Aid.

I was kidding in the Retweets thread that if you had time to read that chat, it meant you needed to get another hobby... then I spent a half hour reading it. It was pretty informative, actually. ;)

The comment about Golson's shoulder has surfaced a couple times. Heck, Coach Kelly brought it up at a press conference. I wonder if it was injured on that play against Purdue where he hurt his hand? In Kelly's offense, your QB is bound to get injured: that's why it is more about the system than the individual players.

I liked Hansen's take on the O line. He did bring up an individual who works very hard but is being outplayed at times by the opposition. And he talked about the fact that this is our 4th OL coach in 5 years.

BTW, when I was really young, I remember getting juicy juiced.

Eric Hansen: I think you've been talking to Jose Cuervo or someone who has been drinking his tequilla.

Oh, okie, and i believe the correct 2012 tetminology you are looking for is: amped

Devaris is AMPED. And so am I. I smell a break out game.

I think this game is going to be more fun then any yet to date. At my house which we call Notre Dame Central, we issue ear plugs to the ladies. Seriously.

Daniels has played great so far. Love his hands. The breakout game needs to come from Chris Brown and Davonte Neal also. I really feel Neal doesn't get too many looks on offense yet because of Toma playing quite nicely there. He's ran a few reverses etc. but that's it.

Oklahoma, careful or everyone will be wangling for an invite to a game watch at your Notre Dame Central. Were I to return to your great state I'd certainly want to experience how you do it.

Interesting about issuing ear plugs to the ladies. How do we go about us men folk wearing them when the ladies talk? :blabla:

And not end up sleeping here: :couch2:

Know what I'm saying? :ballchain:

It gets so loud we can't even hear the women. Sometimes after we score we smack em with a high five so hard they grimace.

Reporter from the Daily Oklahoman came over today to do an interview. Since I have a daughter in both the OU and Notre Dame bands they are going to run a story. We talked for over an hour and he marveled at Notre Dame Central. 85 inch tv, high ceilings, Notre Dame stuff everywhere, pictures all over the wall of our Notre Dame experiences. Really looking forward to the OU/Notre Dame game and hope our offense is clicking by then.

I'm thinking OkcIrish can take some pics for me, I'm pretty much technically challenged. I used to have all the national championship banners hanging, but I tried to wash them one day (don't ask) and it ruined them. They were made of felt.

The reporter said we might be able to take a picture at halftime with the girls as they have a photographer on the field. He kept probing me to pick a winner but I had to remain diplomatic. We called my oldest daughter on the phone, she graduated Notre Dame in 2002 and he interviewed her briefly. She went the route of Rudy. Holy Cross, in the band, then tranferred to Notre Dame.

The Holy Cross magazine, called 'Connections" put her on the cover in her band uniform at one of the games. I'm trying to get a jersey made that is half OU and Half Notre Dame, but you guys know where my heart is.

the phrasing was right in the chat:

Eric Hansen: George, DaVaris is as healthy as he's been in weeks, and he is going to be juiced to play in his hometown.

I look forward to the day if/when we stop writing ... "They are going to break out this game" ... blah ... blah.... AND THEY ACTUALLY DO IT! IMHO ... this is all a bunch of crap. You can't throw long once or twice a game and expect your young receivers and a young QB to be comfortable or any good at it. We have to shorten the passing game and make the defense honest through quick slants and drag patterns. Otherwise teams will continue to stack the box on us while we hope Lombard and Golic can finally get their zone blocking schemes correct and stop giving their imitations of a matador.

Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but wasn't DaVaris a Miami commit or lean at one point?

We need a lot more "ampage" than just a couple receivers, how about a ground game? The entire team?

I would suppose this time off could cause some hunger.....well let's eat!

he was rumored to have chosen miami by that bogus report by one of the papers trying to get the "scoop", his dad, Phillip Daniels took huge issue with it.
