Domers,

Asking for any and all prayers for my father. We had to rush him to the hospital last night with chest pains. He had quadruple bypass surgery this morning. He still is not breathing on his own and the obvious risk of stroke during these types of procedures is still up in the air until we can get him to wake up and check for signs.

I was able to get him to his first ND game this year, we went to the Purdue game and he had a great time. Before they took him in, he told me to start thinking about which game we are going to next.

Any prayers his way would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

p.s. I just lost my father-in-law several months back to the same thing so I am hoping this one turns out better.

Prayers given for your Dad and your family. God bless.

Thoughts are with you. I lost my mother at the ripe old age of 43 to a heart attack and not a day goes by that I don't think about her.

God Bless...

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. All the best.

This is eerily similar to what I experienced 5-6 weeks ago with my dad, quad bypass also. Prayers definitely are going out to your father for a quick and full recovery. God Bless.

Difficult situation. My thoughts and sympathies are with you and your family . . .

Four H, prayers sent for your dad, you and your family.

Start making plans with the old boy for the next game.

God bless.

God, lay your healing hands upon Mike's father; and give his whole family strength, courage, and peace in this difficult time.

Amen.

You got it brother

Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil."

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers!

Last night they were able to remove the breathing tube and the IV that went directly into his carotid artery in his neck. The heart is still having some abnormal fluttering but the Dr. claims some of that will be normal? He has had a few other complications but seems to be on the road to recovery.

Thank you all for the prayers, I will let you know when he is back in football shape.
