The computers base this on the body of work SO FAR and I am sorry, but if you think Alabama has the body of work over Oregon State, Notre Dame, and Florida (#3), then you are crazy. Alabama also has a crazy WEAK schedule. I thought it was interesting and it just goes to show you that if ND goes 12-0, there is NO WAY they are left out of the NCS.

The secondary's ability to limit them (or any other passing offense) is directly related to the front seven's ability to pressure the QB and stop the run. The defense must work as a complete unit for all areas to be successful.

true, the secondary cant defend a WR for 5+ seconds... the front 7 has to give them pressure. The secondary has to defend the WR long enough for the front 7 to pressure the QB
