Well, those were some fruitful and delicious cheeseburgers!

Interesting that they made up so much ground on W Virginia.

Next weekend will be a big one for the undefeated majors, as at least 3 will drop from the ranks.

#3 LSU @ #10 Florida, 330 ET, CBS

#5 Georgia @ #6 South Carolina, 7 ET, ESPN

#8 West Virginia @ #11 Texas, 7 ET, FOX

Yup, but I think that no matter who wins that WV/Texas game, they will be ranked ahead of us. If Texas knocks off a top 10 WVU, they will probably leapfrog us, and if WVU holds on against Texas, no matter how ugly, they will have beaten a #11 team and retain their ranking ahead of us.

I just don't see us beating Miami as impressive as beating a top 11 team. Heck, if LSU loses to Florida, the pollsters MAY still keep them ahead of us in the belief that the SEC is just so amazingly superior.

Let's just bet Miami and let the pollsters to their thing

This game has more and more the makings of a trap game

For sure...although, I imagine pollsters are waiting to drop LSU after two subpar games against Auburn and F*in Towson.

Hey, never bet against the Irish!

Oh it's gonna be a fun day Saturday. I'm feeling pretty good about beating Miami. Still early in the year and lots can happen. Expecting about 35 people at the house for the Miami game.

Right, but remember the AP poll doesn't matter. However both Texas and WV are ahead right now in the coaches, which is the poll that matters.

Yeah the hype with the whole uniform thing and the neutral site has me concerned. We will win, but not by much....

That, and pretty much every other circumstance directly or indirectly related to the ND football program....:peep:

thats a good one

Jason Sehorn from College Football Daily has ND ranked 4th...

I didnt want to start a whole new thread about it, but I thought it was interesting. His reasoning was that the defense will keep ND in every game and offense will come around eventually.

Of course, mitigating that opinion is the fact that Sehorn is a tool of the first order - but I do like the way he thinks in this particular instance.
