My sour Michigan friend just told me ND will get blown out by Stanford an SC. I laughed and said if ND loses this year, it will not be by blow out. I will also watch Stanford though to see how real they are.

I wanna see the new QB Josh Nunes. I also wanna see overall team speed. I know they have strong guys, tight ends, lineman, running backs. I think if we can protect the passer we might be able to get some big plays in the passing game.

 

Nunes looked like a first time qb in his first drive. Of course on offense you deal with Taylor those tight ends and Montgomery. So many formations from power I to spread. They focus on overpowering you, and then beat you with play action

 

Their D is physical, and confusing as usual. Linebackers coming everywhere. Youth this year in the secondary.

I see stout lines on both sides for Stanford, but obviously missing Andre Luck. They will have to progress to beat us. Poor Washington, no offensive line.

Looks like Malik Zaire at qb for Washington!! Drop ball or they were moving. Good looking qb.

I guarantee Kelly is watching. Stanford is solid but not great. Really starting to like our chances. We play at home. This is not a great offense.

if Washington had a better offensive line I'd put Stanford on upset alert. Love the Washington gameplan, you can spread Stanford out but can't imagine Washington can win with their offensive line.

Third three and out for Stanford!! If they can't make 3rd and one against these smallish linemen, what are they going to do against Nix and Tuitt??

Stanford's defense will give us some fits but I'm not that impressed with their offense. Should be another low scoring game for us.

I'm thinking Stanford's a lot like MSU. I believe the score of that game was 20-3 good guys.

Four three and outs for Stanford. Hey Faith, what's so scary about Stanford. I say they are overrated. I like Washington's speed.

I agree Stanford is solid but I see Michigan State. ND can beat Stanford. Nunez will face ND stadium. Its not that loud at UDUB tonight. ND will be more noise and pressure.

 

Stanford's not elite, The only team that may deserve that billing is Alabama, possibly LSU

 

ND has an elite front 7 in its own right

Jeeeez!! Five three and outs. Quarterback just not efficient. Not a runner. Not accurate. Not consistent. No creativity on offense. Penalty stopped Washington drive or they might be up.

Absolutely. UDUB is renovating Huskie stadium so they are in the Seahawks pro venue this year. Not getting huge turnouts as a result.

Stanford likes to blitz those middle linebackers and they are really fast. I would be rolling away from that stuff. Their defense is tough.

I noticed that to. Stanford don't impress me on offense. I can't see us losing against them......

A blown coverage avoids a 6th three and out...Nunes is all sorts of bad. Where is Taylor? What is Shaw doing with these play calls?
