irishinlancasterpa
Any word on the extent of the injury? Didn't know if it was stated or posted anywhere else. Keith Arnold article just says a significant ankle injury.
The Gold Helmets
I was just wondering, I saw some players on Twitter saying they were playing the rest of the year for "JS" I'm concerned...
SDIrishFan
Did anyone see what happened? ABC never showed a reply. They were too busy with one of their 9000 info-graphics. That's a big blow to one of our leaders if he's out. Would he be eligible for a medical hardship/6th year?

jessemoore97
That is too bad for him if true. I thought he must have done something bad to it since he did not want to use that leg to walk of the field at all.

NDhoosier
yea, it seems he is done for the season. I hope he gets a chance to play against. Remember, he is a possible mid-round draft pick. I dont want him to lose that opportunity.

S.B.IRISH
A special case involves the eligibility of a player who loses the majority of a season to injury. Popularly known as a medical redshirt, a hardship waiver may be granted an athlete who appears in fewer than 30% of his or her team's competitions (with none coming after the midway point of the season), then suffers a season-ending injury. A player who is granted such a waiver is treated for the purposes of his or her eligibility as though he or she had not competed in that season. This is from Wikipedia, so if we play 13 games this year he would have played in roughly 23% of them so by definition he should be granted a 6th yr. chirodomer
If its partial he can come back. If its complete then he is finished.
IrishCalves
Would he want a 6th year? After a while, enough is enough. Whatever he decides, I hope for the best for Slaughter.
rocketsurgery
seems odd that we have had two of those already this year as that is a somewhat rare injury.
Lord Byron
http://www.basketballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=2059&sessionstatus=notloggedin&mode=login Found this Link. Although it pertains to NBA seems somewhat applicable to use as a guide. he has roughly 1/3 shot of returning to same level, 1/3 shot of playing below former capabilities, 1/3 shot of never playing again. There are two ways to stretch the calf/achilles. One with straight knee and one with bent knee. I bet they aren't stretching with bent knee. This stretches the achilles.
