MyFightingIrish 0
OK, after week 2, where do we all stand? Place your prediction vote for the outcome of the MSU game.
Green Goblin 114
56-14 Notre Dame Its the natural state of things. The grass is green, the sky is blue, the waves pound the sands. Notre Dame beats Michigan State.
IrishOrDie 0
I'd like to be optimistic and I do love our team this year, but I just think it's tough to go into East Lansing and win, especially with a defense as good as theirs. 28 MSU 24 ND. Hope I'm wrong.
WilhelmD 0
I have absolutely no clue which ND will show up this week, but I think it will be a hybrid of the run blocking O-line that decimated the USNA and the not so much run blocking against Pur-don't . . . I say they learned a LOT this week, are more rested and will handle this night/away game - but, in the tradition of many MSU contests, it will be a nail biter. I say, ND 17 MSU 14. SpeedsterX 752
I say Kelly has been holding our cards close to his chest for the 2 "gimme" games and easing Golson in nice, slow and easy. Golson is a high 60% completion passer right now. Kelly is instilling confidence in the young QB even by pulling him for the last 2 minutes last Saturday. We are at the meat of the schedule and Kelly knows it. He UNLEASHES Golson! Opens everything up! We win handily,,, 35 ND 17 MSU
VCDomer 75
Young QB on the road and under the lights of primetime. I am concerned about the nerves getting to him and Ghoulston chasing him all over the field. He will be trouble. It will be a nail biter for sure. If our Oline plays like it did last week we lose the game by the 3rd quarter. If they shore it up, run the ball more than pass, we win 24-21. Please someone work with EG on how to look off a receiver. I know it comes with experience, but he has to go through his progressions instead of locking on the primary target. GA3 must get more touches.
irish21 0
I've been right about the first 2 games, but I hope I'm wrong this week. MSU 20 ND

toddrhodes 98
MSU in a nail biter. Sorry to say it but that's what I see at this point. I accept that outcome if the boys show up to play and are simply outmanned. If we have bad coaching decisions and poor execution well... meh. Pounding UM into the ground would more than make up for any kind of loss to MSU.

marcwithglasses 0
night game at msu = nd survives 31-24 college gameday gives nd the shaft again? how are they not at this game? they're going to #18 vs #23 instead of #10 at home vs #20 / probably corso's idea
nd1baby 0
We won last year with Rees. We should dominate this year with Golson.
BI5224 0
MSU handily. For some reason, QBs seem to have career days against ND. This may be the coming out party for MSU's QB. This is my gut, so I'm going with my gut. Trust me guys, I hope my gut's wrong and ND pulls out an upset win like last year. How many times has that happened? DomerDad95 0
Purdue's D-line was good. MSU's is better. Mr. Golson, meet Mr. Gholston. MSU 23 ND

I ask that because I have been thinking the same thing... We all know the gameplan against Navy was very basic. Being a close win with Purdue, I felt like Kelly pulled more cards than he wanted to, but I think he has been holding some stuff. Plus, with the injuries in the second half, it hurt as well. i hope we are right SpeedsterX
goirish83 0
I've been saying 8-4 all season i have to give the irish an L at some point and ive had this pegged for a while and last weekend didnt help me change my mind. 19 year old QB starting his first true road game against a top 10 team (overrated i know but still) when our o line is non existent, thats a lot to ask. Last years results do give me some confidence and i hope im wrong bc if they win this then expectations will rise drastically but i just dont see it happening. 20-10 bad guys :peep:

Pregame 291
My guess is that the winning team will have no more than 24pts. Let's say ND 21-17 in a close one.

S.B.IRISH 0
2 words: Cierre Wood I think he runs angry and runs a lot, we have been waiting for him to put up All American numbers and this will be the game. I just think B.K. has had this planned all along, and I know Cierre is ready and capable. Also Theo will get more looks at slot and also some 2 back sets with Theo and Cierre together. The possibilities are endless.
