2lakes
Great post. Love the analysis. Hey, frankly, seeing that the confidence is out there is good enough for me at this point. Oh, enlightened one whom we callest Green Goblin, teach us your ways. Edited September 10, 2012 by 2lakes

nd1baby
Anything can happen. A lot of people thought Purdue would be handled easily. A lot of people think Sparty will be close. The unexpected sometimes prevails in spite of the most logical analysis.

Green Goblin
We're going to beat their asses like bongo drums. They got a new QB, they aren't as good as they were last year, they are more one dimensional. Meanwhile, we are better, more athletic, more confident, deeper. We have their number. nd1baby
Like Bongo drums? I love it! Yes, it's only Monday but time to get steadily worked up into an irrational frenzy that by Friday will have everybody predicting a 35-10 beatdown! rocket31
the longer that game line stays at +3, +3.5 the more confident i feel...
Donjuan
In the style of Green Goblin: defense will win this game for either MSU or ND.
cameroncrazy
One thing I do like is the match up at QB, I think Golson handled himself pretty well under the pressure. Our D Line is a lot better than Boise St and Maxwell wasn't able to handle the pressure at all, tons of terrible decisions and throws that let a team they were much better than in that game. If we can see some running success I think we do have a chance to go up big on them but after the Golson/Rees fiasco I have no idea what this team is feeling like or how they'll play. Green Goblin
Like Michael Vick treats his dog, like OJ Simpson treats his wife, like USC treats its rulebook... So shall we treat Sparty. Edited September 10, 2012 by Green Goblin
OntarioIrish
I have no idea what this team is feeling like They're probably sprawled across their beds, sobbing softly and plucking tissues from a nearby box to blow their little noses......NOT! Where does this notion come from that Golson in particular, and the team in general, have the emotional stability & maturity of middle school girls when it comes to an in-game coaching decision? I have no idea either how they feel, but I'm inclined to believe that they're feeling like the season is off to a decent start at 2-0, and are focused heavily on the game Saturday at MSU - at least I hope so.:typing:
Fifth Horseman
I had a bad feeling about Purdue. Sparty is like playing with house money, as I don't think people expect us to be able to keep up. Worst case scenario would be a blow-out, which I guess is altogether possible. PursuitAce
The kool-aid runs strong in this one Hawaii-wan (or Okie-wan if you prefer). Some Jedi see a BCS contender, other Sith lords see SEC chow out on the field. May the popcorn munching continue.
