OklahomaIrish
The poll comes out tomorrow. Michigan was #8 and we were #26 or #24 in the two polls. Do we jump them?? That's a long long jump. I say yes we do.
ObieKnobbe
I don't think so everyone still has too big of a woody for Denard, Hoke and company. After we crush them in a few weeks and take Denard completely out of the Heisman race then we will be ranked ahead of them. We have karma coming back our way for the last few years of crap that Denard beat us with and our sweet redemption will be taking him and them out. Can't wait. hawaiiirish
They will drop to 15---we likely rise to 22ish---not going to be close--YET aloha's
Irish_Thunder
Early season rankings are a joke and can be really frustrating considering a team like Michigan starts so overrated that it looses and will still be top 15 when it is 0-1. Rankings should not come out until after week three or four, but then they couldn't hype some early games for t.v ratings.
2lakes
In the AP, basically everyone ahead of us, with the exception of Boise State and Michigan, won. We might pass up Boise State for #25. Michigan falls to #15-
OklahomaIrish
Well, if I was voting in either poll there is no way I put Michigan ahead of us. When does it come out??
Scotty88
ND will be early 20s. Mich will be late mid/late teens. I think Alabama jumps SC as well.
corysold
ND will be early 20s. Mich will be late mid/late teens. I think Alabama jumps SC as well. I'm assuming you are talking AP, since Alabama was ahead of USC in the coaches poll. The AP would be a big jump, Alabama was 34 points behind USC. I would assume most people had them in the top 1-3 spots, so 34 voters would have to change their vote. I don't know that many will, but I will guess they close the gap considerably. jlgyork
Well, if I was voting in either poll there is no way I put Michigan ahead of us. When does it come out?? but that is with your ND glasses on. As someone mentioned, everyone still has a major Woody for Michigan. It may have been reduced to a chubby, but it is still there. They were also beat by possibly the best team in the country, and it was pretty much expected. I think I am in the same boat as most others, and think they will drop to about 15-20, and ND should creep into the bottom of the poll. I don't know for certain, but I think the poll comes out about 2-3pm est, but that is kind of a guess.

GeorgiaIrishFanChuck
Sagarin (which is used as part of the BCS equation) has Michigan at 18 and us at 22. But it doesn't mean anything ... they have Boise at #5:noidea:
