:D I see a bunch of game predictions scattered at various spots hard to see who said what...... Thought it might be good to have a single seperate area just for those. I do just a win. Anyone bolder to predict a score do so. Feel free to modify or up date your gut feeling as the game day approaches. :D My W is just that don't care if it's 1 point or a spanking.

 Ahaha Camp. I'm just not the points or total guy.

I did read in Boston.com Pats trip to Green Bay Fri (Still think Pats lost too muc) Belichik said everybody that drssses plays 60 minutes., Pre game best opportunity to put together in terms of substitution, execution, play on the road under hostile conditions. Now where have I heard almost the same thing before?

That was the week of the BC game. I was at the game with my dad and my brother and I looked up at the scoreboard and was like: What the hell?!

34-20 Irish...

A few points:

1) People talk about the new system the players have to get use to, same goes for Pitt.

2a) Pitt played unbelieveably over their heads last year.

2b) Pitt got unbelieveably lucky last year.

2c) Pitt got unbelieveable calls last year.

3) Charlie's first game as a head coach, and he has something to prove. Wanny wasn't a good pro head coach. At least we got Charlie on the way up, not on the way down.

4) These players all have something to prove after last year's debacle.

5a) Quinn to McKnight; Quinn to Stovall; throws for 200+ yards and 2 TDs; Walker runs for 80+ yards and at least 1 TD.

5b) Special teams will score once, defense will score once.

The funny thing is that the only way Pitt can beat the Irish this year is if 2a, 2b, and 2c all happen again. Otherwise it is all ours. Irish win 35-25, yes 25. The score will be 35-17 with 2:30 left in the 4th and Pitt will have the ball and score last second and get the two.

ND -35

PITT -17

There is a statement to be made this season, and this game is the opening argument. Bluester, I fully agree with all your points. I'm only allowing PITT 17 pts. because I know the defense will be a totally different animal than last year. Same strength against the run, but surprisingly tough against the pass. Irish19, I was also at the BC game last year when they flashed the 6-4 score. I remember a collective HUH??? from the crowd.

Do recall Pitt only beat ND on a last minutes FG 41 38 despite 5 TD bombs. I don't give em five this year. The kids were badly coached then.

ND 1 Pitt 0

Once Pitt see Notre Dame they forfeit.

I have this feeling that all three factors of our game are going to be great. I think Quinn and the receivers are going to be lights out. BQ will have 2 passing TD's one to Stovall and one to McKnight (Stovall on a Fade and McKnight on a Post). I believe Walker and the O-Line in particular are going to have us say "holy shit." Darius busts out for a 130 game performance with 1 TD. RPN will have a goal line TD. We win 30-23. Pitt scores late.

However, my question is, does Weis come out throwing with BQ or does he let DW run?

This is not exactly fitting in here but Coach Dan informed me that on ESPN Lee Corso predicted ND will go 0-6.

After I quit lauging I thought of tys Green jerseys and that defense chain, I called em Mickey mouse. I then recalled while at Louisville Corso had his players show up in one white and one black shoe. I guess it beats X and 0's? There's your ESPN authority on football.

Yup Corso said that we would be lucky to win 4 games. The other "analyst" werent much better although herbsreit(sp) said that ND would eventually win.

It was funny because as Corso officially made a fool of himself on National TV (yet again), all of the other analysts began laughing at him and trying to interrupt him. I can't wait until Sept. 3rd when he can shove his words right up his...
