Talks about his visit during the B&G game and also how Charlie visited his school earlier this week. He still says that he is not ready to commit, but this article reinforces that ND is in very good shape with him.

Interesting tidbit from this article: Kamara says he's been talking to Benn, Ragone (talking alot), and Clausen. Take it for what it's worth.

What's the wait Duval? Do these guys worry that it will affect their ratings if they commit early, that's the only thing I can think of.......I hope he's as strong a lean as he was a couple weeks ago, probably just wants to use those officials.

I'm ready to close on the other two, fill up the class and leave some openings for the silent commits that will sign on LOI. I've said it plenty before, but I'd hate to see another guy like Austin last year that wanted in but couldn't fit.

I really like Kamara. His videos are very impressive. Just looks like a natural pass catching WR. Very fluid. Obviously very tall also. Charlie likes that.

For those who have not seen his videos try to check them out.

Hey guys, first time poster, long time viewer, just wondering if we really have a "burner" type wide receiver for the 2007 class. I know Deonte Thompson is a burner, but he also appears to be staying in his home state. Anyone else that has tremendous speed that we're going after?

shooter welcome, right now i dont really see what you would call a true burner, but im starting to think drew davis may end up the third reciever, in fact i picked him in my prediction, hes a 4.5 guy, not a 4.3 guy but i think it will be ok, with guys like west, and gallup in this class we got speed, thompson is by no means out of the picture, i just wouldnt call him a lean

i think off the top of my head they were right at about 4.4, but both are fast and very explosive, you'll see grimes i believe in the slot this year, but hord is probably the fastest WR we got, he can really stretch the D, im jsut thinking in this class its going to be really hard to land 3 top wr recruits, i think we get 2 big time guys in Benn and Kumara and 1 below the radar with a ton of talent in someone like davis

both gallup and west had very impressive films. both explosive and great laterial movement. gallup was beating all of the top dbs in the AA game. don't forget about munir lining up in the slot a time or two. hord ran a10.4 hundred in high school and is easil the fastest guy in the wr core, but is developed is been slower than expected, he was orignoly supposed to be better than grimes but grimes beat him out. he had trouble learning the offensive last year and had an injury this off season

i would watch for hord to gain some favor come fall, i just got a feeling about him on this one, i know its been slow for him, but i got the feeling charlie is getting through to him and as long as hes healthy his emergence should begin

I checked Rivals, contrary to Gallup I don't know. Actually, Gallup is the one who knew. He was right. Gallup (the player) had a 4.44 40 time and a 4.2 shuttle. I'm not sure if that is a good shuttle or not. Our DD Gallup better get his numbers right, after Gallup is his stage name.

West ran a 4.53 40 and a 4.22 shuttle. West is obviously fast but he is more of a quickness guy than a speed guy. West's videos are very impressive. He is a phenomenal kick returner. In 2005, he had something like 7 or 9 TD returns. In one frickin' year.

im with you broke on west. i really didn't think much of his signing because irisheyes didnt have video on him. then i subscribed ti irish illistraded because i wanted to see west and princes films, he will be a major factor in the return game. does any one know where i can get more film on munir rivals only has one.

I know that a lot of "top end" speed guys like Horde dopn't get off the line really quick but it is their conditioning that allows them to keep what acceleration they have. 40 speed gets you around the DE or through the Tackles. 100 speed gets you past a CB that has the angle. As for Aldridge he just eats you up. Pound pound pound, next thing you know he has 130 yards and you don't think he got any. Our local HS played him in the semi state and they loaded 7 in the box and he still hit them for about 120 with no help. Literally, aldridge is the "real deal"!
