Well, this is it 12 days to go here. There is really nothing to report. Coach Weis has out Belichick, Coach Belichick on saying nothing.

South Bend tribune had a nice article on Coach Weis but beyond a few snippits all recycled. The pay sights (Not knocking you guys) just snippits from an interview another reporter missed with a coach and another player saying "we will play hard and are learning." That's usual blah usual.

As coach Weis said what's an 18 year old know? Come ask me. He sure does not talk mutch.

We fans are dieing for info. We weigh every word a coach speaks. It reminds me of the old Cold Wars. Back then the only CIA knowledge of the internal changes in the Soviet Union was which leader was closest to another on top of Lennins tomb.

As frustrated as you or I might be....I'm really hape Wanny Sept 3rd, USC and the others are more so.

Blow them out of the water Irish! :D

Of all the facets of ND football that have been discussed in regards to making changes, this is the one thing that makes sense to me. I know we used to be so privileged to get all the inside information given to us on a whim. In this atmosphere of college football, I suppose that can't happen any more. We become vulnerable, lose the advantage of the surprise element. I'll take any advantage (within the rules of course) that we can get. It also makes me that much more anxious for the season to start, just getting a tease here and there. Ok, my heel has officially started tapping on the ground and it's not gonna stop until Sept. 3rd. GO IRISH!

:D I know Santchy same here. Everything in the past was so predictable that you only had to hope for a miracle that did not appear. This is all wonderful new strange territoy. Am sure after last 2-a days today Coach will say some words and a blurb or two from a player selected to talk.

Back to being a kid again expecting a nice Cristmas present.. I won't know.. no one will but coach till it's unwrapped. :D

I always used to get in trouble for shaking the presents to try and figure out what they were. The only shaking going on here is Charlie Weis "Shaking down the THUNDER!"

YEP! Even Pat Forde's in on it.

We pretty much have the same old vet offense back again. The thing we do not have is the past coach and those coloring book plays and painfullly apparet and unimaginitive calls left. So that is a group that's been on the firing line and battle tested previously. There is not all that much snarling at them evidently by the coach.

Toss in Special teamss priority. There's not much we know except it is now important and helped Vir Tech. It's nice to see this second diamond in the rough.

Defensively? Always a question point for us. Minter and Lewis seem to have a handle on it. They are shuffling in and out so many players often i can't keep up. I almost... quit worrying.

I do say, if Wanny's new, well there's no use looking at an old ND film. These are not the 2004 players.

I have printed out the 2005 roster alrready. Last year I could tell who the heck was on the field at a given moment in any position. This year I have the feeling I am going to see numbers on jerseys and guys I never saw before but sure better learn.

Todays star was not yet born last year.

:D Well the fresmen spoke. Give 100%, get on the field, make the bus to Pttsburgh.

These guys are terrific, at least no trash talk ending up on Pitts locker room walls as comments. That's our Coach running things and I think it's about time.

This puts all of us on that same page. (Wondering) But then those we face have to wonder. Long gone is ND will visit with that 'West coast' mess and this is how we will tear them up.

I can say I bet anyone reading this knew more about the 2004 team then that so called Head Coach did and that was his and our downfall.

Here's the link provided by Notre dame on the Freshmen. There will be a couple other (bleeps) by some media but it amounts to the same thing. No one is really talking.

Which is if your not able to go to the game. Make sure you let the dog or cat out early, TV is all set, kids quiet and fed, fridge of beer and leave me alone game day. :D

I enjoyed the quotes, everyone seemed to be on board the TEAM bus. They all want to do what they can to help the team. I did like the slight infusion of Bravado from Don Juan Horde, saying he HAS to get on the field in some capacity. I don't doubt for one second that he will.
