Sorry to be Debbie Downer on this Good Friday but this was on IE today:
"Josh Oglesby (6-8, 310-pounds) had been planning to take a trip to South Bend for the Notre Dame spring game, but he realized that he a conflict in his schedule.
“I actually made a prior commitment to go to Madison, and I had forgotten about it until it was brought to my attention, said Oglesby of the conflict between the Notre Dame and Wisconsin spring games. “Since I made my plans to go to Madison prior to Notre Dame’s I thought it would be disloyal to break that.
“Maybe I’ll leave at halftime and try to make it to South Bend in time,” he joked.
Although Josh was recently at Notre Dame for a junior day in early March, Charlie Weis and the Irish staff would like to get him back on campus.
“I went to Notre Dame the most recent, I think I was in Madison a couple weeks before that,” Explained Oglesby. “I plan to attend Notre Dame’s camp and I’d like to get to one of their spring practices to make up for my absence from the spring game. I definitely will try because my spring break is just starting."
As the weather starts to heat up, and coaches are able to get out and visit recruits during May, Oglesby will have already narrowed his option down.
“Right now I’m in the process of narrowing it down before it gets too crazy,” Oglesby said. “Just yesterday I got a text from a couple schools [not under consideration] asking me if I wanted to leave Wisconsin. It’s all starting to add up and I want to catch it before it gets too crazy."
