Anyone know if Weis is close to offering this guy. I saw on a pay site that his interest in ND is high. Tom Lemming has him in his Top 10, maybe because he's a Chicago guy (doesn't Lemming have Chicago ties) and also maybe because he's an Irish guy. I noticed that 5-6 of the guys in Lemming's top 10 have interest in ND.

I think hes on the list but if you look at the offers out right now there are alot of O-lineman, and we are talking the best of the best o-lineman, Stroter is a very good one but hes not oglesby, I think hes in the next round of offers, if we miss out on a few of these lineman which we will then you will see him get an offer, I would say to look for him to possibly pick one up august or after

Right now these are the o-lineman that have been offered:

Tray Allen 6-4/305/5.3 Grand Prairie, TX

Anthony Davis 6-6/305/5.2 Piscataway, NJ

Nick Jenkins 6-3/316/- Damascus, MD

Chris Little 6-6/335/5 Jeffersonville, GA

Dan Matha 6-7/310/5.4 Erie, PA

Ryan Miller 6-8/280/4.93 Littleton, CO

Josh Oglesby 6-7/315/- Milwaukee, WI

James Wilson 6-5/305/4.9 St. Augustine, FL

Jenkins is being recruited to play DT, I think we miss out on Allen, I think we land Oglesby, Wilson, Little, which leaves one spot ( I think we only take 4 o-lineman in this class). Fighting for that one spot would be Davis and Matha, if we miss out on both of them then comes Stroter, which is a possibility.

we land James Wilson and Chris Little? I get your reasoning behind oglesby. Also I kinda get your thinking with Dan Matha being a PA kid.

However what are you hearing that makes you think Anthony Davis and not Ryan Miller. Think I read that anthony Davis is a SoCal lean.

I see that you list Nick Jenkins on the list of O-line offered. Both Scout and Rivals had articles on him last week. In both he claims that ND has not offered but that he's getting interest from the Irish.

Are we sure he's offered?

i got him as offered from my sources, also he is being recruited as a DT...as far as the other guy goes, I didnt say we would get Davis or the rest, Im saying there up on the list before Stroter and it will take them saying no before stroter gets his offer in my opinon

As far as Wilson and Little, I think we got really good shots at both of these kids and they are being made priorities and we do not miss often on kids who are priorities, i.e. Young

TD thanks! Wilson and Little noted. Good to go!

I be Stroter to the East, Stroter to the West, Stroter to the woman that I love best. I be Stoter!

Bring on the big guy!

Sincerely, Clarence Carter

In all seriousness, anyone know what the deal is with Stroter at this point. Is he still on our radar? Are we still on his?

i heard a little while back that they were not impressed with stroter, he was very raw, out of shape and not nearly as good as other prospects out there, i dont think this staff wants to take on a project, if he comes out and has a good senior year he will get another look but it is my understanding his best hope would be illinois

i remember seeing miles stroter in tom lemmings preseason top 10 prospects.

you won't find much love for lemming around here

Except from me!

well i think you may be lemming so i leave you out of that remark

haha

He apparently changed phone numbers and no one on the pay sites has talked to him since after the ND camp in June. That was two months ago.

His best offer is Illinois. The rest are MAC schools. Nice local kid with good grades, but this has to be a last resort guy at this point.

His camps didn't go very well at all.

Thanks, Jig! By the way, if you want his phone number I have it. Afterall, I AM Tom Lemming! Just kidding! Or maybe not!
