I have now seen a rumor stated twice that the man, D. Walls is a silent verbal to ND. Now, I'm not big on the silent thing, I think it is not used as much as people let on. But with D. Walls, I'm willing to believe. He did say within the last month that he was going to have his officials set up but was hoping to make a silent verbal in the first half of August (i believe he said by 8/7) before his officials.

Not much legs on this but I have heard the rumor twice now.

Landing this guy would be an incredible addition to this class and the future of ND football.

I think he did silently verbal. He said he wanted to before Aug. 7. Also, look at his visits scheduled. Pitt-ND, Mich-Whoever(I cant remember), and ND-USC. I think he verbals on his official.

committed to the coaches but has not made it public yet. I don't get the purpose of it.

I still have my doubts about whether or not "silent verbals" even exist. They seem to make as much sense as a promise ring. I promise to PROMISE to commit to your school. In this case, however, I'll take it because this would be HUGE.

DJ was one. He said he had been committed since the spring. Even if Walls isn't silent, I still think he is ours.

Incorrect, DJ NEVER said he has been committed since the spring. He said he consider committing than. That is all. He committed to the staff the weekend before he announced it to the public. But NO, he was not a slient verbal since the spring.

Wow. Ok then, sorry I guess.
