I saw the remarks put out by "sources" paid to follow these. It's shaking the tree like I wrote in "Notre Dame Sucks." We have a nice top 12 recruiting so far....Yep that sells..Now suppose we pump out this or that guy waivers...Gee it sold more.

Negativism to pop a growing ND wave.

They are all Verbs for everyone and no certainty till Feb. The Coach team is doing a great job.

It's funny, of all the talk the other day about Prince and Mullen on some of the other sites, NO ONE was able to produce a link or quote or transcript etc. It did what it was intended to do, which was grab attention. I have faith in the recruits we have on board, and the ability of the coaching staff to reassure them and keep them in the fold. GO IRISH!

:D :D Snatchy it's Pssst...Pssst (Whisper Did you hear? Snicker an ND guy is wavering on a verb. 20% jump in sales.

ESPN listening? I don't have cable. Fox? I seldom watch any programing over there.

Pss.....t Santchy I just heard Indiana University is offering Coach Weis 4 million a year to jump. Port-a-potty news.

the mullen and prince rumors are false. but they came from a fairly reputable writer. The source supposedly was someone within the Illinois program.

My question is if a Illinois staff member spoke of a rumor of a recruit, isn't that a violation.

Hmmm Broker let me check my NCAA some. (Snicker) I do think only the school he verbed to can't discuss off hand??? Wich would be ND. Not sure about Illni ANOTHER school.

Is funny no sweat. It just swells and sells anti ND

Under the NCAA rules, I'm pretty sure it is stated that schools can not speak publicly about "recruits" period. That includes their verbals, other schools verbals, non-verballed, you name it. If someone at Illinois is spreading rumors, something needs to be done. As I understood it, it was someone from an Illinois SITE that was claiming these rumors.

well.....then they shall receive a patented domehead "dutchrub" ...I close enough to drive to Illinois....snatchy...you want in on this?

It's confirmed from their HS coach. Paddy and Munir are both strongly on board the Irish train. Let these rumors come to an end NOW.

Snatchy you will patented rub domehead till he is bald  (See infomercial on hairclub.)

not unless he wants a rubber band to the eyeball...believe me he's been there and done that...by yhte way.. dutchrubs are only intended for people affiliated with other stinkin' universities...oh yeah and Trev...God Bless the IRISH

Snatchy nonverballed?

Yep Let's tell Ryan we need a spell check like you suggested

Wow, that was the longest conversation about me I can ever remember...........yet I'm still confused about what the heck you guys are even talking about.

oh we do alot of talking behind your back too snatchy...so really this isn't the longest conversation about you.. :p

Here is a great Paddy Mullen comment that he recently stated to another board: "Ron Zook or not, they are STILL Illinois...just ask DJ!"

dont worry from what im hearing mullen and prince are 100% irish. So everyone can chill out hah, and await our next commit, who may actually have already committed

There is an article about Mullen over on Irisheyes , its a pay sites so I cant read it but I am sure it clears up the speculation.

Yes, I'm sure the article on IE clears it up. And according to NDNation, it actually WAS an Illinois assistance coach, Reggie Mitchell to be exact, who started the rumor. I am really starting to wonder if that was a violation or not. Anyone have any insight on this?

Well if he mentioned it while a media member was present the I think it is.

I don't want to wish anyone harm, but rules are rules. I have to imagine of Weis or Haywood or Oliver did the same thing, it would INSTANTLY make headlines and draw an investigation.
