This search is ridiculous at this point IMO----i mean we get a search company a search committee--- for what exactly???---- we wanted urban--- we wanted stoops--- now that was fine--- two of the top 5 active coaches-- clearly this is what the doctor ordered for are VERY SICK PROGRAM_-------but who is the # 6 rated active coach--- BRIAN KELLY__ THATS WHO--- this guy is everything we could possibly hope for--- a football sevant--- he has won everywhere-- he has won every season---he has been making more out of less then any other coach in division 1-- thats any other coach--- he takes a sketchy roster and makes it into a scary team--- he is smart-- he is an innovator-- he is charismatic-- he would be a hollywood made face for the ND program--- he is midwestern-- he is irish-- he is catholic--- he is simply THE HOTTEST COMMODITY IN COACHING AT THIS MOMENT--- unlike urbie and stoopy-- he is at a school we can bully and outbid-- he likes ND -- he wants to caoch ND----- IF WE DONT HIRE KELLY__ WE ARE OUTRIGHT FOOLS!!!!___WE SHOULD HAVE HIRED KELLY YESTERDAY!!!----

I usually read the title of the post, assume he is merely supporting that title, and skip everything else.

Relax! A Search is a Search! I understand we have some recruits to pep talk but let's face it, Signing day isn't until February. If it's Stoops or Meyer then it won't take much to sway Martin and the others back. Remember.........Shiny ball syndrome and high school boys! We'll be fine. Plus! If we hire the right guy then we will be taking JUCO transfers and playing them ASAP!!!!

There is no use in spinning our wheels in the sand over this coaching search, we won't know much more than we do now, at least until Monday or possibly midweek. A few days hiatus from posting or for that matter reading regurgitatated rumors is the tonic that will see us through this crazy time. We suffered 15 years of forgetable football we're at a crossroads again let's keep the faith, it's only a couple of days since the firing, let the process take it's coarse.
