2 options:

Oakland or Tampa. Im sure the money will be a big factor in his choice to enter the draft, but he could possibly throw his career away. The reason Peyton, Brady, Brees, ect. are successful is because they apart of good organizations. Tampa is not bad, so if he could get a something guarenteed with them, then I guess.

Tampa won't draft him, because they have Josh Freeman. The teams that will be in contention for him would be:

St. Louis - Definitely need a QB

Cleveland - Maybe, depends on whether or not new coach believes in Quinn

Detroit - Nope, have future QB already

Washington - Definitely need a QB

Oakland - Definitely need a QB, OfftheJaMarcus is a BUST.

Kansas City - Nope, have Cassel

Not much in the way of quality teams here, but he will get a ton of money to try and help turn one of these teams around, IMO.

Washington, Oakland, St. Louis are career enders. I thought about those other teams and didnt add them as I thought exactly what you were thinking. I forgot about Freeman though. He should wait for a better situation I would think.

Peyton and Brees were drafted to bad teams but they apparently had a good front office. Brady went to a good team with a good front office but he was a 2nd day guy who panned out (I've done it, understatement of the year!). Jimmy has to hope it isn't Oakland as they're the one team that is seemingly a dead end due their terrible front office. St. Louis wouldn't be bad and Jimmy could benefit from playing in a dome. Possible for teams to move up and draft him as well. I don't think he'll be the first player chosen (since you all asked...if i had to, my guess would be Okung for #1 at this point).

I would agree but St. Louis is being sold.

There are a couple of other teams that may be interested in a QB fairly high that weren't listed:

Carolina - Delhomme isn't winning anyone over with his consistant mistakes.

Seattle - Hasselbeck isn't getting any younger, and each hit seems to take him out longer and longer.

Denver - Orton is serviceable, but a good QB could bring the Broncos back fast.

49ers - Depends if they think Alex Smith is the answer.

That gives Clausen a good 10 landing spots, with some being better than others. I get that the money will be hard to pass up, but competing in a class with the likes of Max Hall, Tim Tebow, Dan LeFevour, Colt McCoy, Riley Skinner, Sam Bradford, and Zac Robinson, among others, may not be the best move. Next year he's probably the #1 QB hands down.

I could see Detroit taking another QB in the first round...wait, Millen's not there anymore

Well Kiper has Clausen as the top QB on the board right now, so he almost has to go. As far as where he ends up, it won't look any better next year, so go while your at the top of the head for your position.....

I a hoping he goes to the Skins along with CW.

If nothing else, the front office has shown that they are willing to spend money (even though they tend to spend it on the wrong people).

Hell the Viqueens could trade up to draft him since they really don't need to do anything other than get ready for the Favre "I'm leaving... no im not... I'm leaving... no im not" carousel... That being said.... I really hope Minny doesnt do that

I could see Detroit taking another QB in the first round...wait, (REDACTED) not there anymore

Careful. As a Lions fan that name is capable of sending me into fits of rage and/or seizures.

Dude....I am soooo sorry.

While cheering for jimmy the old bear me'o mi'o asks you to remember what it does for the 2010 team that trots on the field with a coach that can 'run'.

how about the Carolina Panthers? that might be a good fit for Jimmy.. probably the best of all the options No?
