According to footballcoachscoop.com, CW has offers from the Chiefs, Browns and others and is leaning to be OC at KC. It also said he was told last week to pack his bags and his assistants have been job hunting for the past few weeks.

ESPN is reporting that he has been contacted by at least 6 teams about being an OC next year. I just heard it on espn news.

He should go save Quinn from the Browns horrible play-calling.

The Browns need a lot more than an offensive coordinator.

Yes they do, but I agree that a new OC would be a good start.

Good to hear that Coach Weis, with his multi-million dollar platinum parachute, will somehow land on his feet. I was so worried about him.

Yeah, that's a relief - I thought we might have to pass the hat...;)

It really sucks for the Coordinators who arent making quite the dough C DUB gets... they get to relocate their families again, sell & purchase real estate in this tough real estate market.

Wow! Good stuff man.lol

Cleveland would be a great fit for him. He'd only have to move 1 state to the right/east and he could be reunited with Quinn.

These guys get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars year. I'm not shedding a tear for them either or any assistant in the country for that matter that may lose their job. This is not high school football. It is what they signed up for - and I would have to say most of us would kill for a gig like that.

Point taken. I can see that their large salary is in compensation for the risk they take when coaching at big time programs. It still sucks though..

I think yesterday I had the "we might not have the right guy" feeling.. I just cant wait to see what's gonna happen. Any chance the new coach will keep Tenuta LMAO?!?

If you recall the NFL keeps tight lid on who can offer what and when till after the regular season.

I believe all these rumors are just that rumors by people who feel bad giving Weis the shaft and are cutesing things up to feel good.

Fact is Weis made it clear ND was his last job.

all this buyout $$$$ that Charlie is getting is a bunch of crap , i think he put in his time at Notre dame and he will get only what he deserves IMO. No one knows how much he is going to take . he may donate some to the university . :-) LET'S JUST WAIT FOR THE REAL STORY.
