This goes to the sports director, fire Charlie and you're making a horrible mistake!!!! Recruits have said if charlie goes, they go. If you fire him you can say bye bye Jimmy, bye bye any kamara, bye bye Prater, bye bye recruiting class that will fall way behind because of firing charlie. If you fire Charlie you best be 110% sure you have ALMOST as good a coach as him to take the position, because Charlie is one of the best. If Charlie is having problems winning, you know something is terribly wrong because we have #1 sophmore class with some great players in Juniors and Seniors. All of our games we lost by 7 or less, and the refs clearly cheated us either by alittle of bad calls or refs acting like Dictators.......its time you stand up for the program Mr. Swarbick, and realize its not the coaching thats gotten us all these losses, sure it may not look good at times, but you know how big the pressure can get....now, Coach Weis is an amazing coach, firing him is a big mistake, now may I have your word on this?

I don't care if we lose 75 recruits...we need a new coach (and coaching staff for that matter). Even if Weis had 100 5* recruits we'd still go 6-6 so what's the difference?

 

We need a staff that can motivate and get players to play to their full potential.

I'm more worried right now about the constant losses. If CW stays and continues to lose, we lose recruits, period. If he goes, we may lose some. It's time for a change. To think we were actually optimistic about the season. Maybe we all should've really listened to the "pessimistic" posts all year long. Charlie's gone. Good riddens.

ND will always lose 3 games a season, at least, no matter how good we are. You gotta face the facts, if we can't do well with a coach like Charlie, what can we do with anyone else?

If you're only 12, NdJohn...I understand. You don't know any better because all you've known are sub-par coaches at ND.

 

You haven't had the pleasure of witnessing a Holtz or Ara-coached team. Those two were born leaders, and their players always over-achieved and would run through brick walls for their coach. We would literally beat the crap out of teams back then...coming to ND was death and destruction for the opposition. It was beautiful to experience. We can have that again, trust me.
