No drinkin' I was only kidding. Watching my kids while my nurse wife goes to work. I will have a small belt of scotch in the 4th quarter to toast Charlie. I love the guy and am sad to see things end the way they have.

I think Stanford will go up early, but Notre Dame will step up with some dink and dunk to hang within a score through the 4th quarter. I expect the game to be very mouthy and physical.

Stanford 41, ND 34-- Hope that the stanford band doesn't rush the field before the game is through and their fans don't dress like Catholic clergy and mock the starving caused by the potato famine. Those old enough to remember what they pulled about 11 or 12 years back. Have a feeling there might be a tasteless gesture aimed our way tonight.

tonights game should be something special.

im sure all the players allready know this is Charlie Weis last game. these are all Weis players, im sure every one of them is going to want to play their a55 off to get Weis a win in his last game.

im sure all the players know this is very likely Jimmy Clausen and Golden Tate last game at Notre Dame. both those players should want to light up the scoreboard and go out in style.

i think the team will be inspired tonight to play perfection.
