now i don't mean to be offensive-- but IMO your all NUTS!!!

 

i can't even keep up with the rumors and the pace of around and around the coaching merry-go-round-- its just NUTS

 

what we know---- CHARLIE CANNOT BE RETAINED-- i mean i dont care when the formal announcment is made-- or what swarbuck is saying---- Charlie cannot be retained-- its hard to even imagine a scenario that would be met by more controversy- anger- and confusion then keeping charlie after this WASTE of a good season-----since brady quinn left--- charlie is 16 wins and twenty losses-- i mean thats just INCREDIBLE--- case closed on that--- weather he resigns or is fired or whatever is just info that is of no real use to us

 

so then who is the new coach going to be----

 

after a detailed analysis of ALL the speculation-- its become alarmingly clear--- THAT NOBODY HAS A FREAKIN CLUE!-----too many conflicting rumors-- so much inside info its become outside info!!

 

the candidates-- well there we at least have some consensus that makes sense---- we all know the names-- BUT I HAVE TO BELIEVE THATS ALL WE KNOW AS OF NOW

 

hopefully some real inside info-- something we an really get a grip on leaks out from this school or that

 

BUT UNTIL THAT HAPPENS-- WHAT WE HAVE ESTABLISHED VERY CLEARLY IS THAT WE AT DD JUST DONT KNOW MUCH!

 

its fun to speculate i agree-- but lets call it that--PURE SPEC------

we dont really no if anyone has even been approached--- we can assume things but thats it--- assumptions and speculations---

 

WHY DO SAY WE ARE NUTS!!__LOL__- because it really strikesme funny that we can generate so much info-- so many sources-- so many threads-- so many inside and outside posts -OVER A SEARCH WE HONESTLY KNOW ZERO ABOUT AT THIS STAGE---

 

I am a little worried that by the time this is done half the board will be BABBLING AWAY IN HAPPYDALE , PROPERLY SEDATED OF COURSE!

hey wave--well it was decided after careful thought-- by the ---------"COMMITTEE TO EVALUATE ND RUMORS "--- this is a select group that was established on november 22nd and as of now has just one member ----but has a large beuraucracy -- a president-- a research staff-- and a on staff psychologist-- now it is true that i do hold all those positions myself-- but that still certainly makes this a collective opinion and not a unilateral one---- i hope that clears it up for you-- aloha go irish!

I agree that nobody knows for sure (I think), but it's still too early for this post hawaii.

Our latest "insider" stated that Weis wouldn't be fired until 2 days after the Stanford game.

Going off of that alone, we shouldn't expect anything to be known right now.

With a coach still in place at ND, there won't be word from any other coaches interested in the job.

We're all in a waiting mode now amigo.

Now you know how we feel after reading your all of your threads throughout the year. Speculations, assumptions, sky-high dreamin', and lack of substance... spell what forums are all about. If we posted all facts, we'd only need one forum.

No offense Hawaii, but given all of the stuff you spewed before and during the season, we should be the ones calling you nuts.

no panic here chris-- just funnin mostly--- i am waited with baited breath like the rest of you--- hopeful and optimistic-- just a little confused by the wide range of INFO---- the board is going through something new--- i don't know what you would call it---its clearly not a meltdown with so much excitment & euphoria-- but tinted with confusion and worry--- i'd CALL IT A" MELTUP"---- DD'S FIRST MELTUP--- im confident it has to have a good outcome --- aloha go irish!

I wish I could be confident, but the last 5 football coaching decisions have been poor. Even with all of the positive info nothing leads me to believe this time will be any different. Every time the job comes open we hear how all the big names want the job, but then we end up with our third or fourth choice. So until I see a big name wearing the school colors I will remain in the wait and see camp. I will say this we are in the best position we have been in since Lou to hire a big name coach - the only question is will the admin screw it up again and as we have seen in the past they are good at doing that.

well DScott-- i get where you are coming from--- for some reason i have confidence in swarbuck on this matter-- i guess i put myself in his shoes-- he has a ggod reputation as a sharp guy--- he was essentially HIRED TO MAKE THIS TRANSITION--- he has had two full seasons to prepare-- no shocks about this-- last season was close enough--- then on top of that-- he seems to have a bottomless pit of cash for this move--- if i put myself in that spot-- i'm confident i could do a good job for us-- i don't see any reason he won't too--- one caveat is the horrible possibility that even with purse stringsas looseas a goose-- ALL THE TOP GUYS WILL BE THANX BUT NO THANX-- and like charlie we once again go down to 7th or 8th choice----that would be bad news- hopefully not this time though--- aloha go irish!

hey chiro-- whales are arriving soon -- but only stay through the winter then the humpbacks head back to alaska--- march is the last month i think--- but no worries theres lots of other fish in the sea-- or mammals-------right now i'm on the big island of hawaii-----aloha !

haven't a clue on teo, DJ--- just a hunch---he and his family were really hooked on weis and the effort the personal touch he and his staff put toward manti--its such a family town out here, everybody is auntie and uncle if you know the person for a week--lol---given the crappy year-- the weis demise etc- this is gonna be very very disappointing for them--- i hate to say it but i wouldn't be surprised in fact i would guess that he takes his mission---- but then what do i know-- i was sure we would win ten games----aloha go irish!
