No surprise at all. Someone needs to take that man for a beer tonight. He can be a big help in term of what's coming. But we have to get his head right. Thank God there is no salary cap for the head coaching position in college. I know we have some folks who hate the Yankees out there, but I want to see us use our resources to buy the coach we need. Even good guys should be for sale for a good cause.

I'll bet you that he just resigns and Corwin takes over HC duties until after bowl season.

Im excited to hear that it is officially over if thats the case, but why not wait one more week? No coach is going to announce they are going to be ND's next coach until the regular season is over at least.

 

Unless they are announcing it so that they can officially say the search is underway, maybe they havent contacted anyone yet and the official resignation will allow the calls to be made.

Yes, it was heard on the radio. I tried to find a link, but havent found one yet.

Personally do not think with a loss to Stanford we should or deserve to go to a Bowl. The extra practice would help but this years results and the finish to this season do not warrant a BOWL.

They're going bowling, no matter what their record is. The days of turning your nose up at bowls is over at ND.

Weis loves ND and the best thing he could do for this University is step down himself.

if Weis himself does resign i think everyone should atleast applaud him for him being able to get recruiting back to the top, but unfortunately he just wasnt able to get it done on the field.

He'll still get paid. His ego would never allow him to be that humble.
