Question....if you had a choice for next year. Weis is still here, and Clausen stays for another year. Or, Weis is fired, and Clausen goes pro?

 

As frustrating as it was to watch the game live last night. I would have to pick the first choice.

I agree, Clausen is a great qb I definately want him back next year

Bring them both back for what? To go 7-5 with losses to Tulsa, Michigan, MSU, Stanford and USC? I wish them both good luck in the NFL.

i can see JC and weis being together next year, just not at ND, i think whatever team drafts JC will definitely look at weis as an OC or qb coach

They both need to go. It is time ND will not win with either of them. Their post game interviews are almost word for word the same, "I dont know what happened on that play I'll have to watch the film" Come on Jimmy you know if your arm was going forward or not and Charlie you know what happened we were not prepared for the panthers or just about any team we have played this year. Good Luck next year to both of them at a different level

That's just silly. Take Jimmy off this team and I shudder to think of what the record would be. It's not his fault he can't play both ways, hunkering down the defensive line.

Clausen is going pro no matter what happens.....so I will just take a new coach.

We need to move forward with a real solution, not put bandages on a wound that won't result in us ever getting any better. If both leave, who cares? Quit getting wrapped around a single player. What's the difference in him leaving this year or next? Nothing. He'll be gone either way.

i will really enjoy watching clausen in the NFL--- i think he will join snachez- stafford--ryan-- flacco-- as a rookie who starts for the team he is selected by--- charlie i feel will retire from coaching! aloha

I think as CRAZY as it sounds would like Clausen Tate and Weis back with one more year of experience for everyone we could probably roll to a 10-2 11-1 maybe even a 12--0 record. I think i believe that. But you all know what a fanatical Charlie supporter that i have been.

Realistically, that should have happened this year. It didn't. What makes us think it would happen next year? Nothing...
