i don't have speakers on my computer, what did c. brown say?

This kind of verbal thrashing needed to occur last year when we actually won.

Now it just looks like another excuse for losing.

I was pretty disappointed in that. CB wants to "focus on Pittsburgh" and then takes so much time on the Navy coach with an irrational rant. The comment about him saying Navy's attack is unimaginative was plain silly. They ripped through us and went down the field so many times with kids who would be on our scout team, who cares how they did it? The other comment about how they couldn't do anything in the second half other than that one play, well guess what? That was a great play call and they absolutely burned us for that TD, counting on our lack of discipline that the guy would be wide open. The comments about the cut blocks, come on. Very disappointing.

I would have felt better if he just stuck to what he said he was going to do in preparing for Pitt and left this one alone.

Between this and CW's throwing Ian under the bus, this is a coaching staff that knows its on its way out...sad.

Perhaps there wasn't much to say about Pitt because there isn't much planning to discuss.

They're probably too busy updating their resumes....

I'm just glad to see some freakin emotion from somebody. The fact remains that Niuamtalolo ripped the game-planning of ND's defense. Thats pretty much saying "don't take offence but you guys coaching D didn't do your job". Thats something you dont spew in the media. It SHOULD be taken the wrong way and i have ZERO problem with Corwin being upset. Unfortunately it does come across as sour grapes since we lost.

And the late cut on Blanton was one of the worst cheap shots i've ever seen.

Anyone else think that JC's comment: "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for CW" was interesting?

The way I read into that was that CW was the one who recruiting JC and convinced him that ND was the right place for him....

I agree Rockne, that was a very interesting comment AND I think it was said purposefully . . . the look on his face suggested as much . . .

Tell me more.

Absolutely

You know what else is interesting about his comments???? The fact he said that the fumble on the 1 yard like was his fault, not the coaches'.

Then the other kid says "it's not him it's the players."

If it's the players, then we should be recruiting different guys, which again falls on Weis.

So what you are saying is that Weis shouldn't have recruited Claussen and Floyd those are the two players who turned over the ball?

It really doesn't matter anymore. Navy exploited our weakness again and again. CB needs to shut the hell up and figure out how top become a better coach. Who cares if Jimmy leaves. Our next coach likes a mobile QB anyway.
