I just have this feeling that we're going to win it and it's not going to be close.

 

Everybody's so G'damn pissed off, I really feel our guys are going to move hell and high water for 60 minutes and it's going to be ugly for Pitt.

As much as I'm on the "fire charlie" side, I can't help but agree with you. And I hope they do. A win against a top 10 team on the road would be a pretty awesome thing for this team.

I have been trying to stay away from the boards, it has been a tough couple days,, The DDer's here have no say what happens with the ND football team or the coaches ... so lets just continue to support ND... Just realize these kids didn't want to lose to Navy,...... Weis may be gone, and all the bitching myself and others have done won't change squat.... Lets go Irish BEAT PITT !!

Unfortunately I have been saying that all year. Every week I think things are going to start to click and Notre Dame will play an intensified whole game. I think there is a good chance Notre Dame takes Pitt down to the wire and squeaks out a win. I think there's an equally good chance that Pitt takes them to the woodshed. I think there's no chance that Notre Dame blows Pitt out.

There is nothing that has happened this year that makes me think it is possible for us to beat Pitt.....

Agreed. Except I think we lose by 10 and Pitt is disappointed that it wasn't by a larger margin....on the flipside, we're relieved it wasn't worse.....

I agree, I think the offense will rally behind Jimmy and Golden and pull it off. Additionally, the defense has a lot to play for and have to be pissed off about their performance against Navy. Go get em' boys!!!

I think we either come out super motivated, or incredibly deflated. I'm not sure how it will work, but I see it being a beating one way or the other.

I have had this feeling since mid day Sunday. I have posted it on about every thread here. Charlie and the Boys are going to beat Pitt and win out the rest of the year. It is a gut feeling i have. This is NOT 08' and the boys will answer the call as they rally one and all! GO IRISH! BEAT PITT!
