Open your FN eyes and atleast agree that Chalie has been extremely good about not blaming others. He has actauallly pissed me off in this regard as he should have exposed refs, prevous regimes and some of his players ( Sully for ex.). He has done none of this. He should be publicly kicking some players asses!

It is time for him to be placing a number of players and coaches under the back tire of a fully loaded bus. This just might wake a few folks up and set the expectations of effort/performance we deserve!

Not sure I understand here. Are you saying that CW has not been a good disciplinarian? Not motivating the players well enoug? Not blamed the refs enough?

If he does the things you suggest he do, you think things will improve?

Actually I saw something after the loss that he said he wouldn't even have to... he said the kids that care will see the mistakes and get sick to their stomache...

I never agree with throwing a student under the bus publicly... do it behind the scenes or take playing time away.

What's a Regime?

Iran. space space character limit.

Cool, I understand. I got a bit unerved thinking we previously had a Regime here at Notre Dame.

I don't understand where this saying comes from...was anyone ACTUALLY thrown under a bus at any time in the past...it sounds like a bad way to go...And buses aren't very green are they....that seems to be important now...so I just threw that in there...under the bus.

P.S. I bet people that work at a bus station never use that saying.

Accountability by players as well as coaches - no one should be exempt. And sometimes it need to be public.

Ahe said the kids that care will see the mistakes and get sick to their stomach...

I think more fans have gotten sick to their stomachs

crazy ending to the Cotton bowl.

Tim, to get back to your point, CW has done a number of things well. I think the bad thing for him was...no head coaching experience...you can watch something your whole life, but until you do it...you just don't know. His odds would be quite a bit better with some good, successful HC experience under his belt. As for calling players out...a coach should never say or do anything that doesn't help the team...it should always be foremost in his mind. Some coaches will say something to the press about a player but it is almost always positive. If it is negative there is always an agenda or motive behind it. Woody Hayes used to poor mouth his players in general and sometimes by position, but on the practice field he would tell them they could handle the other team or the other player they were up against. All part of the game. One of the many reasons it's so cool....

OT "and Joe Montana has done it again..." so says Paul Hornung.

This is Just electric - alot like UNDH.com Ha Ha Ha just spittin my drink over the dialogue....Ha Ha Ha
